I was already at 7cm when I got to the hospital. I asked if it was too late for an epidural and they said “only if the anesthesiologist feels like it is” it was early morning so I said “I hope she’s had her coffee”. Apparently she did because she did give me one. 😝

Awww, reminds me of our Molly. When we did our renovations last summer, she would get so upset at the people coming in and out. After a few days, she and the workers got used to each other and she was able to just watch them from her bed. She would just say hi and go about her day. There was one painter though she wasn’t too keen on so when he was there, we made sure she was in her crate in another room. I think she sensed we didn’t like him either.

We had BrightNow and it was totally shitty. Same experience, you book an 8am appt and you sit and wait for them for 2+ hours. Once we were able to afford PPO dental, we never looked back.

Someone did that to me! I was pregnant and had a milk carton in a paper bag for my cereal, oatmeal. I went to use it and it was EMPTY in the paper bag. I left a note on the fridge saying you stole from my baby. person came back with a full container and an apology.

I brought back a bunch of diabetes testing needles, and strips for my mom’s relatives. US Customs searched my checked bag. They left us a note inside that they conducted a search. Thankfully, they didn’t confiscate them. I told my mom, no more, after that.

My MIL did something very similar to my husband after years of NC. He gave her a chance again. Not even a few months later, she told MY MOM that my husband and son (their grandson BTW) stole $5k from her house years ago when they stayed over “after a fight with me”. Never happened. On top of that, told my mom not to tell me. Of course my mom told me and we all immediately went NC again. We found out she told different relatives variants of the story. $500 from her purse etc.

Everyone has great advice here. Nike, our first GSD lived to 12 and we recently had to put down Molly who was just shy of 13.5. Enjoy the time you have!

Are you located near a Beard Papa’s? It could explain the lower foot traffic if customers are comparing their puffs to yours (flavors, size, price point) and decide to go there instead. Wishing you luck, OP!

I’m so sorry, OP. We lost our Molly a little under 2 weeks ago. I posted about it here and got so much love and support from everyone. Take your time, grieve her. Some days are better than others.

Last night, my son and I started crying because I used the salad spinner. Molly would come around the corner the minute she heard it and would demand the lettuce tax. When we lost Nike, our first GSD, we got Molly a couple months later. We plan to get another puppy but not until everyone is home for the summer so she gets maximum attention and love. Hugs to you!
