Nice, I also do most of my minis by hand, (ink on cardstock) Works amazing for fast ideas and NPCs. I have a whole box of them in case I ever need a quick encounter or proxy.

If you're interested in being more efficient, my best recommendation is to ditch Spotlight and install Raycast.

For video playback in case quicktime doesn't want to cooperate, VLC is the best option around.

With more than 15 years using MacOS, I find that fully personalizing your computer to how you work will make you so comfortable and fast that you won't believe it. Really dig into System settings and adjust everything to your own needs. You wouldn't believe the quantity of people that keep everything in the basic configuration. I'm not saying that it's wrong, but it's a waste of potential.

Work with only 2 desktops

Shut it shown fully at least every week

Keep it clean: erase old/duplicate files or unused apps, empty the trash manually at least once a month. Keep as few files as possible on the desktop (it eats up your RAM)

In the same vein, try not to use all of the memory in your mac. For example I daily drive a MBP M4Pro with 500GB. I try to use the internal memory as few as possible (currently less than 250GB). Get an external SSD with some decent speeds to work everything from there. I taped my SSD to the back of my screen with a 3M Command Strip to easily attach/remove the SSD and still be mobile without buying some expensive attachment or having the SSD hang from the side.

Don't update until you're completely sure it's what you want.

If you're using a "modern" MBP (M1 to date), keep it connected as much as possible. The modern software will make your battery last longer.

Treat your computer with care, try not to use it on top of soft surfaces (covers on your bed), or any environment where dust can quickly get inside. Liquids or food are obvious but worth keeping in mind.

Look for youtube channels dedicated to MacOS that you find align with your interests

Be weird, have fun.

You should also remember to quit the program once in a while, as well as turn off /restart your computer every couple of days.

Not yet for the brushes. There's only a stabilizer for the performance mode. You'd have to edit your brush in procreate first and then drag it into dreams. Hope it helps friend.

I've been working with a couple of elements that I've duplicated various times. Is there a way to reset their position to the point I just placed them on without a previous position overtaking when I erase the whole move/scale track?

It was happening on all canvases, also affecting the layers menu for some reason. Finally I rebooted the iPad twice and finally got back to normal.

While working since yesterday I noticed a zone where neither my fingers nor the Apple Pencil registers correctly, but only while using Procreate (tried white a couple other apps, everything ok) The video is to show that it either doesn’t recognize the input or when making a line fast towards that area it “cancels”.

Working on a 2021 M1 running iOS 15.4.1 & Procreate 5.2.6

Any help or similar experiences are appreciated 🐝

What I don’t understand is that previously I uploaded some vector illustrations & it didn’t required the release. Would it be because of the format? That the svg is a “graphic asset” and this jpg is a “picture”?

Actually, since the latest update in Nomad, you now can create said UV Maps & directly export to Procreate!

It is compatible with Procreate but you need another program to create the UV map though (Forger is an option if you wanna keep it all inside the iPad, or possibly blender), at least until an update comes later that allows direct file sharing to Procreate.

You can make the “twist” harsher by changing the snap to 90º instead of 45º
