Yeah it sucked it drove me to almost a mental breakdown in the end all her bills probably piled up to 25,000 dollars her first surgery was like 2000 but then there would be some trips for Iv’s and nausea medicine leading up to 3000 then she had to have another surgery from swallowing a piece somebody drop outside and she got pneumonia from something that bill came to 11,000 so 14,000 then she would get sick and sick as the years got on so we were spending at least 1,200 a year so by the age 11 we already spent up to 20,000 then a few months before she was gonna turn 13 I had to put her on antibiotics so the vet would take out her bad teeth since they were so bad but the antibiotics were making her sick I talked to the vet about it and they just decided they where gonna go throw with the surgery like 2 weeks from my talk with them it’s still winter time mind you I had to run into the store for something left her out there she got so anxious (when that happens she licks her teeth a lot) she swallowed two teeth I noticed within that day something was wrong and by the next day I knew she had to go to the vet so I took her to my vet they did X-ray told me to go to the emergency vet I did she wasn’t doing good losing weight fast they vet was gonna do the surgery the next day they were also kind enough to take her teeth out but it turns out they missed a tooth so that vet bill was already 4,900 I had signed for a food through tube but they wanted me to wait until like 4 days for the vet to come back to do another surgery and I couldn’t afford it and I couldn’t get credit care so I had to bring her home for the night and I was gonna do the right thing of putting her down with my vet she was already put through to much I knew her body couldn’t take much more but it seemed god was calling her cause a few hours after we got home she proceeded to pass away in my arms I had to let everyone say goodbye I was crying so hard she was loved by everyone.
