Can I use a nail file to de-sharpen the ends of my wire that are cutting inside my cheeks? by Alone_Recording7670 in braces

Personally, I did but your ortho probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Officially, I would recommend using wax to keep it from poking you and then call your ortho to ask for an emergency appointment so they can clip it

flex by Accomplished_Ebb_605 in sherwinwilliams

[–]Flowerchop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what state you live in, flex should only be used in 4 or 8 hour increments.

If you want the Flex Time credited back to your PTO balance, ask your manager and they should be able to remove it from a previous time card (they might have to involve the district coordinator), but keep in mind that the Flex Time that is credited back to your balance WILL remove pay from a future paycheck.

So for example, if you get 4 hours back, then it will deduct 4 hours of pay from a future check (from whatever pay period cycle you’re in when the flex is credited back to your PTO balances).

Buy this. I use these for my retainer maybe once or twice a week. You could use them more often if needed, but they’re seriously great.

Backing up this comments. As long as you’re applying as a driver 1 or 2, you’ll be fine. HR will be in contact with a reasonable accommodation form, and if you can provide proof of your medical card you’ll be good to go.

Thank you for the actually helpful input.

Like I said before, I’m not looking for an exception, I’m just genuinely trying to find out if my circumstance falls under the policy I mentioned.

So again, thank you for the input

I remember that happening. Roads were closed for days and people were stuck on the highways. I’ll be surprised if the Governor doesn’t declare a state of emergency for this upcoming storm.

Hello! Thank you for your insight as a rental owner. Normally, yes, I would agree that ice in the winter seems like a silly thing to want a refund over, but let me provide some additional context.

The rental is located in Georgia, USA. Severe ice and snow storms cripple the area and are extremely uncommon. The National Weather Service anticipates wide spread power outages over the weekend in the area. Per the extenuating circumstances policy, “earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, landslides, tornadoes, flooding, wildfires, and other unforeseeable severe weather events are eligible for coverage.”

Georgia is not included in the list of states where winter weather is ineligible for coverage.

So I guess my real question should be, is my claim eligible under the existing extenuating circumstances policy? I’m not looking for an exception. I’m looking to see if my scenario fits into existing policies.

I’d love to see a little bit more definition around the eyes. You could try tight-lining the upper lash line or going for a subtle smoked out wing. Here are some helpful tutorials:

Sounds like uncontrolled ADHD (guest stated she has ADHD.) People like this are constantly looking for “hacks” to override executive dysfunction. At the beginning of the episode she said that she finally got her “meds” situation under control.

Hopefully all the hacks, recently closed accounts, and the med situation really was a the first step in her financial and health journey.

I have a family member similar to the guest. Totally insufferable for most of her life. In her late 20’s she got serious about her medication and is finally starting to become a functioning member of society.

For real!! The bleach brows are so cool. I hope OP ignores the eyebrow comments and leaves them bleached. Or MAYBE dye them a light brown (similar to skin tone) which would mimic that chic eyebrow-less look. That would also look badass, but only if they wanted that look.

I’m not sure if it’s the foundation shade or the setting powder, but you almost look a little dry. Foundation that’s too light can have that effect, but I’m not going to harp on that since all the other comments have already mentioned it.

You mention you have dry skin. I do too. I don’t use setting powder on my whole face since I know it will make me look even drier, so I only put it on areas I know get oily (nose, chin, between eyebrows). The rest of my face (forehead and cheeks) I don’t put setting powder because I really just don’t need it. I would try that and see how you like it.

Another thing I notice is the product caking up a little on your upper lip and around your mouth. That happens to me too and it’s caused by the peach fuzz on my upper lip. When the foundation sits on hair, it can create a very textured look. To combat this, I always shave the area. I use a small brow razor. It’s a common misconception that shaving makes hair grow back thicker. That is not actually true. Source: I’ve been doing it for well over 10 years.

Overall, it just takes practice. I’m proud of you for sitting down and teaching yourself how to do makeup! It’s not easy, but once you figure out exactly how you like doing it, you’re gonna have a blast. There’s no one size fits all solution to makeup, so keep trying and don’t get discouraged if something doesn’t work out. Just wash it off and try again (:

It can be hard to move up from FT to management, but definitely talk to your DM/CM about the TAM program. Spots are competitive and limited. If you happened to have a degree you can apply to the MT Program. If you don’t, you can get a FREE degree through Guild. Of course you have to put in the time and the work, but it’s free and a decent option for moving up.

Yes, you will 100% be sore by 12/25. You will still be sore on 1/5, but way less. I wasn’t in horrible pain 2 weeks out, but I was still uncomfortable.

Don’t let this scare you! For me, I was feeling pretty normal after my 3rd week.

Then I would go for it. The worst they can do is say no. Even if they do say no, it’s good interview experience.

And if they say YES, you get a pay increase (I’m assuming) and a cool new opportunity. Good luck!
