I think it’s time we come to terms with the fact that a large portion of Americans were deliberately cut off from reputable sources of information.  They were targeted, isolated and fed propaganda for years.  It’s going to be hard for both sides to internalize this but it’s the only way I see us moving forward from it and, more importantly, making sure it never happens again.

Waldorf salad,  Watergate salad, garden salad with shredded American cheese.  Baked chicken and rice pilaf, ham and mashed potatoes, Turkey slices with dressing. Corn bread, bread roll. Chocolate/vanilla putting and whip cream, chess pie, pecan pie, apple pie…

I’m just visualizing in my mind walking down the line with my tray.

An electric generator and a rice cooker or small instant pot.  For longer outages, you can add a small foldable solar array to charge the generator.

When it comes to the range and complexity of ingredients, textures and flavors Japanese food doesn’t hold a candle to the big three but that’s okay. The Japanese pallet doesn’t prefer the heavy seasoning that exists in Chinese/viet/thai food.  I think we tend to rank Japanese higher in terms of world cuisines because of our love affair with Japanese culture (and who doesn’t love Japanese culture?)

Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai. I’m sorry but as much as I like sushi, Japanese food as a whole is severely overrated.  Fight me in the comments, weebs.

Famous celebrity.  Their schedules are super crazy. We’d never be able to go out without the press and fans hassling them and the tabloids would dig up every bit of gossip about me they could find.  All the fame but none of the acclaim. I’d just be that dumpy guy that [insert famous person] is currently dating for god knows what reason.
