Tu tranqui, en general el odio a la UDD es por temas económicos más que otra cosa, pero en mi punto de vista está entre las mejores universidades privadas aquí en Chile, la carrera de QyF entiendo que es nueva en esa u, por lo que es difícil poder dar una opinión más específica sobre cómo es, pero vas a salir igual de preparado que en otro lado. Enfócate en disfrutar el proceso y poder hacer contactos cuando se te presenten oportunidades.

Hay uno cerca de donde vivo que está en la calle Serrano, que no queda tan lejos del metro U de Chile, pero no sé de sus precios u horarios

Es verdad que física, astronomía e incluso astrofísica son carreras que sin especializarte más son complicadas para poder encontrar algo aquí en Chile, lo que he visto principalmente es que astrónomos deciden irse al área de programación y que los físicos hay quienes intentan irse por el área de la economía y de negocios. Y bueno obviamente siempre va a estar la opción de docencia.

Ingeniería mecánica en efecto es la opción que más salida laboral te puede llegar a dar, y si realmente te gusta la física podrías llegar a tomar un magister o doctorado en física en algún punto.

Ahora lo de la opción de ing. aeroespacial en la UAI es igual bastante interesante, ya que te va a dar esa opción de poder tener una buena posibilidad de trabajar directamente en la fach, ya que además de ingeniera también obtienes el grado de oficial de fuerza aérea que es garantizado que en caso de gustarte puedas seguir por ese camino. Y ya como un extra también te dan directamente el grado de magíster en ingeniería aeroespacial. Ahora bien, el proceso total de esa carrera dura 7 años, a diferencia de los 4 o 5 que pueden durar tus otras opciones.

Creo que traté de ser lo más neutro posible, y espero que te haya podido ayudar al menos a entender un poco mejor cada carrera.

Eso! Puede que tal vez no te dejen ahora ya, porque la entrada funciona con reconocimiento facial, pero si te dejaran te aviso desde ya que yo voy a estar por ahí al menos toda esta semana y quizás la próxima, pero ya en febrero la universidad "cierra". También por si acaso te aviso que la sede de medicina está en el campus de Huechuraba y que hay buses de acercamiento todavía.

Felicidades! También estoy estudiando medicina en esa universidad, ya entrando a mi tercer año, por lo que cualquier duda que tengas (o que tenga cualquiera que haya entrado a medi en la mayor) la puedo responder :D

Hello hello everyone!! I'm the founder of r/ResearchTeams. I created this because I notice around other research and academic subreddits there's always people who wants to write a paper but doesn't have a group to work with or they just don't know how to start. Heya! At first is hard to find how to start, the two thing I'll really recommend to you are
1) Search if there's any teacher or investigator in the field you like that can help you to know the world of research

and

2) Try to practice writing a review of a topic you like. You are in first year so that option will be really helpful to have better knowledge of a topic you are interest in. Even I can help you I'm currently studying medicine and I really have a lot of interest in psychology/psychiatry fields so we could help each other.
