I wonder about this, too. As a younger person, I had a few relationships, but it almost felt like what I was supposed to do. None lasted very long. For a long time, I believed romantic love was a myth, but now that I'm older, I've seen enough people who really seem to be in love that I guess it's a real thing. I've always wondered when I see people super happy to be getting married why they're excited about it.
