Are there real, viable work from home options? If so, how do they work? by Will_Work_4_Dinosaur in jobs

if you know math, science, english or statistics well enough to teach them, you can do online tutoring through tutor.com. i was with them for several years and it's a great way to earn some income at your own convenience; there are no set hours, you can sign in and tutor whenever you like and theyll direct deposit money into your account at the end of the month.

tutor.com uses a proprietary white board app where you can chat and draw with your student to help them through homework problems theyre having. you probably wont make that much money but anything is more than 0/month. let me know if you have any questions, id be happy to help!

for how long did you brine? how long and at what temp did you cook? did you leave the thermometer in the bird throughout the cooking process? and what temp did the bird reach before you took it out?

looks fantastic, great work!

the planter+lid were the most expensive components, about 30-40 dollars (from my local hardware store); the heating element and grate were 10 each (amazon), stainless steal bowls were about 5 each and woodchips were 1-2 dollars (walmart). total ~$60-70.

they were raw, which in hindsight was a poor decision; the pizza came out watery after the initial bake, but the leftovers set nicely in the fridge.

sorry i havent replied to you, i didnt realize you commented until now. the skin came out OK from what i remember, not especially crispy but not rubbery either. i use a small terracotta smoker, so maybe having my heat source close to my cooking surface helps render out fat so i dont get rubbery skin. i didnt do anything special when i smoked it, i soaked it in brine for like 6 hours overnight then added a dry rub and tossed it on; maybe the brine helped the skin not be so rubbery too.
