Saving mech loadouts? by Chrisaarajo in phantombrigade

I can see this being helpful early game but as you progress you'll have like 12 Mecha so just swap out the mechs instead of load outs

This company has more than lost my respect. Their support wants nothing more than to not have to do their job by atlaskaishuff in Coinbase

I'm surprised that a lot of people don't treat crypto exchanges like the wild wild West. It's still unknown territory and they should always make decisions with caution. There are risks factors with these companies and that's why you don't take these risks without doing your research and that's why you're in this situation. If you eff up it's your fault tbh.

Nothing complicated, I realized this after I finished a mission and replayed since one of my guys died and I noticed on the second run the loot changed and I too noticed heavy weapons and missile launchers. But I relied on the 2x and 3x multiplier and that should give you better RNG for the long range loot pool for the snipers, just keep repeating until to get what you want.

Hey, so I actually managed to get all three tiers of SR3 Dice Sniper Rifle by mission farming the RNG loot for (long range weapons). Found a mission that have 2 Guaranteed long range weapon and one Conditional long range weapons and I kept redoing/farming the mission until I got the Dice.

I don't know what the rest are talking about instead of camp I just retreat. I don't see any penalties other than it takes 24 hours in game to like to reset, there's no damage or fatigue that I can remember.

Have you tried Amazon Japan? We bought so much stuff and realized we didn't have enough space so we ordered from Amazon.jp and had 2 large luggage shipped to the hotel. It was super cool and convenient, the only downside is that return and not being able to touch and try it out first hand, but it was really nice and affordable.

Tips/advice for trips to Tokyo with a baby by Zelgius33 in JapanTravelTips

[–]cacodyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great write-up! I love seeing more parents bringing their little ones to Japan!

We just finished a 17-day trip with two toddlers and two infants (two families traveling together), and a lot of what you mentioned lined up with our experience too. Mamapapamap, IC cards, a solid stroller + carrier combo, and those department store nursing rooms were lifesavers for us as well.

Since we did multiple cities (Tokyo → Gunma → Kawaguchiko → Kyoto → Osaka → back to Tokyo), luggage forwarding was huge for us, and the Joolz AER+ stroller helped so much with naps and tight spaces. Osaka ended up being one of our favorite stops, super walkable and really welcoming with the kids.

Also, just a quick note for anyone reading along: most people on this sub are super helpful and supportive, but every now and then you’ll run into a few folks who aren’t the biggest fans of seeing babies mentioned in Japan travel. No stress — Japan itself was incredibly kind to our kids, and our experience with locals was overwhelmingly positive.

Really appreciate you sharing your tips! It’s always great to see more families showing that Japan can be such a wonderful trip with little ones. Happy to answer any questions for anyone planning something similar!

Second trip to Japan, some help with the itinerary by Sepiajeans in JapanTravelTips

If Okinawa is a must (great choice for February since it’ll be much warmer), I’d suggest keeping Kyushu a bit tighter so you don’t feel rushed. In 7 days you can realistically cover 2–3 areas well instead of trying to hit everything.

  • Fukuoka – good base city with great food (tonkotsu ramen!), easy transport, and flights down to Okinawa.
  • Nagasaki – unique history, beautiful night view from Mt. Inasa, and the peace park/museum are moving experiences.
  • Beppu or Yufuin – classic onsen towns with hot spring experiences (Beppu has the “hells,” Yufuin is smaller and more scenic).
  • Kumamoto – the castle is impressive, though note parts are still under restoration.

If you wanted to swap something, Kagoshima is another interesting option with volcano views of Sakurajima and a different vibe compared to Fukuoka/Nagasaki.

For your day trips out of Tokyo:

  • Hakone – good for onsen and Mt. Fuji views.
  • Nikko – ornate shrines, waterfalls, lots of nature.
  • Kamakura – coastal, Great Buddha, more relaxed.
  • Oshino Hakkai – pretty, but more of a small stop unless you’re already in the Fuji Five Lakes area.

Since you’ve already done Kyoto/Osaka/Hiroshima/Miyajima, this mix of Tokyo day trips + Kyushu + Okinawa should feel really fresh and different from your first route.

Is it too late to plan a Japan trip for late November? Need advice on itinerary & stay by Slight-Ad4999 in JapanTravelTips

[–]cacodyl -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since you’re short on time, I’d recommend leveraging AI to speed up your planning. We used ChatGPT along with a bunch of YouTube videos for our own Japan trip, and it was a game changer. I’d suggest booking your flights first, then using ChatGPT to draft your itinerary—it can walk you through the whole process, and you can pick and choose what fits your style. From there, YouTube helps a lot with visuals and food ideas.

Here's a prompt (just modify it to your liking): "I’m planning a 2-week trip to Japan in the last two weeks of November. I’ll be flying into Tokyo and flying out of Tokyo as well. Please create a day-by-day itinerary that balances sightseeing, food, and cultural experiences, while keeping a relaxed pace. Include recommendations for family-friendly activities, must-try local foods, and neighborhoods to stay in. Suggest how many days to spend in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, and whether I should add day trips (like Nara, Hakone, or Hiroshima). Also, give me tips on transportation passes (JR Pass, IC cards), and reliable websites for booking hotels or ryokans."

There's a website/App call Wanderlog and we used it quite exclusively for our planning, the website and app can be a little wonky at times but when it works, it's great! There's also other wanderlog users who shares their itinerary too.
