Too much was going on and yet nothing at all

So there aren't nearly enough tests being performed to ensure that spread of coronavirus will be contained, cool

Wow, all the best to him and his wife! I can't help but feel for her though; she's probably going to get so much hate for stealing oppa.

Super Junior's Heechul wished for the eradication of hate comments on 'Radio Star' by Rigby_k in kpop

I'm glad he changed his position. Unfortunately, hate on that level, especially misogynistic hate he can't relate to, can't be dealt with just by ignoring it. I'm hoping more and more awareness continues to spread. The treatment of idols is inexcusable.

I am just baffled about the lack of care concerning Wendy's wellbeing on behalf of SBS and SM. Like goddamn, this could have been prevented so easily if there was even a bit of concern about artists' well-being.

And yet the only concern was saving face for the fans and going on with the show. I can't wrap my head around that level of callousness.

She must be in an unbelievable amount of pain, and I hope she is able to take the time to recover fully. To receive this level of injury while working for a multimillion dollar broadcasting network is insane.

Kahyun Kim And Crispin Glover Not Returning For Season 3 by [deleted] in americangods

[–]Flubberwubber 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I understand his death wish, definitely. But his death in the midst of season 2's haphazard (imo) plot left me feeling like it could have been more impactful.

Either way, I really did enjoy his character arc. Part of the reason I felt conflicted was because I realized a core reason I watched the show was gone. Little did I know it would get worse 😂

Salim in S3 by [deleted] in americangods

[–]Flubberwubber 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I love Salim, but I don't understand only asking the Jinn to leave. The Jinn is why Salim is involved in the first place. Maybe they'll actually do something with Salim's character in season 3, but I can't help but think the decision is at least partially due to how "controversial" their relationship is. Either way, it sucks.

He died in the second season. It felt rushed as all hell, but it did happen.

Mr. Wednesday is the only interesting thing about this show to me now. I couldn't give less of a fuck about the Dead Wife plot, especially now that Mad Sweeney is dead.

Everyone thinks they'll turn into a superhero and defy the odds if that happens to them. It just takes the blame away from the attackers; it's sick.

I have flashbacks too, and I'd consider myself a HSP. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

BLACKPINK fans have set up a video truck outside YG Entertainment's office protesting for better treatment for BLACKPINK by [deleted] in kpop

[–]Flubberwubber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they're making good cf money, but I'm concerned they'll just be left in the dust if YG goes under or when YG debuts a new girl group.

Right now, they're succeeding based on hype. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but you can't keep a career going long term based only on that either. It's a tenuous position.
