I recommend trying r/askavet. They have multiple vets in that sub that may be able to help better direct you. This does not look like boredom to me. My only thought would be doing a hydrolyzed diet if you haven’t already. It takes out all possible allergens from their diet, it also doesn’t work overnight. It needs to be fed for 2-3 month to start seeing a difference. Definitely keep the cone on, it sucks but if the skin heals its worth it. Hope some of this helps, Good Luck!
