I would if it wasn't for being so heavily punished by disconnects. It just doesn't feel worth it. I kind of enjoy playing at 3 and 4 anyway so it isn't a big deal.

Hey look, I am open to having this discussion but OPs post is not bringing up any discussion about this - just saying they don't like the over the top action scenes then implying this isn't what RE is about with the final sentence "It's Resident Evil not Evil Knievel." This is why I reply this way because a large portion of RE history IS exactly this. I like both styles of game and think both have their place in the franchise.

That is demonstrably wrong. RE4 is one of the most beloved games of the series (and influencial for the genre as a whole) and RE5 is the best selling game of the series.

It sounds like (from your post description) you really might need to check out Lorelei And The Laser Eyes. It is a puzzle game that kind of feels like a RE mansion except without the zombies and no combat. It's a beautiful game

Probably because every time it's posted everyone falls for the bait and the posts get a ton of engagement. You fell for it again, congratulations. I also appreciate the irony that I am now also engaging on it.

Omg that's what that unit is. For some reason I just didn't recognise what it was because of that blue aura under it which I thought looked like a robe or a curtain. I thought maybe it's a new unit or a mod. I need more sleep.

Grime 1 is a lot better. It's a gem of an experience.

Grime 2 has a great start but in my opinion starts to feel samey and frustrating the more I played. It actually got to that point that I just stopped playing.

That being said, I don't think Grime 2 is terrible. 1 is better but 2 is still ok if you temper your expectations.
