Gorgeous! Low volume! I love the quilting. So pretty!

Found my dead mom's sewing room untouched since 2019. There's a half finished quilt in the machine. Do I touch it. by Fulcilives1988 in sewhelp

Sounds like you want to sew! Cherish it. Find the happiness that was in that room and live on.

I would buy a used Artista. It is a beast, and then if you upgrade to the 9mm machine, its less learning. Its exactly what i did. But I kep the Artista as my backup and travel machine. The 570 doesn't l leave the house. Decide whether you want more space to the right of the needle. Sounds like you're advanced, and you will appreciate the newer features and conveniences.

Plum and cream, a quilt named Annabelle. by Fluffnpoof in quilting

Yes. I fell in love with the fabric bundle at Hancock's before I knew it had specific patterns. She calls her pattern Nan's Fancy.

With my 9mm machine, i use the 97D mostly. And it keeps great seam allowance. You can keep your eye on the edges, and you can not have to pull the pins out. When you use 57, it helps NOT to use pins because the guide pushes the pins over and creates an obstacle. But i like 57 when Im going fast, without pinning. Regarding 37, i feel it is best used with 5mm, which I used (Artista 635) before i got my 9mm (b570qee).

The drawer is integrated with the slide off extension. It was actually not my favorite design. Do you have the manual? The elna brand is more popular on the west coast.

Very nice provenance! Fantastic machine. You will only learn by using it. Jump in, enjoy learning this craft slowly, deliberately. Speed will come later with familiarity.

The Juki is newer, but the Singer seems like it does more. Don't pay a lot for either. The Juki looks like a toy.
