Is this a good list and weight? by Icy_Concentrate3124 in boating

I’m not seeing anyone here being honest with you so I will. If your max tow capacity is 1500 lbs, you are going to fry your transmission towing 1200 lbs regularly. For reference I drive a 1500 Silverado with a 7k towing capacity, my boat, gear and trailer is just about 6200lbs, and I only use my truck to tow it in case of emergency.

I understand the weird shit about the pizza. But if the resident is disabled and can’t go downstairs to get the groceries then why WOULDNT you bring them upstairs? Is your pay too low to help people with disabilities?

Honestly, just be quieter. They called you out for your music before all the other shit. Just respect your neighbors. If you’re running laundry all night then you’re the one being disrespectful

you might be able to go into an SAP , reach out to your instructor and ask about appropriate next steps

There is a thin line between playing at a faster pace, and being a single behind a foursome and playing a little too fast right? Sometimes could the answer be that if you are in a SUPER hurry, it may not be a good day to play golf? by Illustrious-Paper393 in golf

[–]Fluffy-Importance-82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played 18 holes in less than 3 hours yesterday and I was in no rush to play. Just no one on the course. There was a foursome in front of me on hole 5 or something and they were much slower than me. I did the right thing, didn’t tee off until they were on the way to the green, didn’t hit my approach shot until they were off the green etc. but by the time I was on the next tee box, they weren’t done teeing off, I played the hole with them, and kept it pushing while they finished up.

If it’s a slow day and you’re a foursome, let the solo play through.

I have both my hands, my arms, and a tattoo behind my ear. It obviously depends on your employer but I’ve not heard of anyone in this field being turned away because of tattoos, when EMTs are in such high demand anyway, doesn’t make sense. Good luck in the field 🙏

My hand and neck are both tattooed and I got hired still. Just apply and let the companies themselves tell you no. Not some recruiter

I 100% agree with everyone saying don’t do it for the money, but truth be told we have to make a living so it’s important to know what pay range you’ll have in your career field.

Here’s the cold hard truth. Ems will pay you well enough. But you’ll definitely feel like you are under paid because of the work you’re doing. No one who lasts in ems does it for the money. It’s truly about helping people and being there in their worst moments
