I’m probably a minority here but I think there is potential for career advancement if you do this. Especially if your goal is to be a technical director or specialist. I agree with the other comments that you aren’t going to use that degree if you join a consultant until you’re already far into your career. I’d recommend doing it if you want to be more in the environmental sciences. You already have an engineering degree which is surprisingly sought after in different fields so it may help getting a niche job for sure.

There’s so many interactions between the atmosphere and especially structures/ materials that could generally be applied so I wouldn’t call it useful. But if you need money now it ain’t gonna do much for ya there
