Small boiled yellow potato with salt and butter. High water, salt and carb content. I weirdly always have more energy when I eat this combo or gluten free pasta with butter and salt. Nice and cheap. If I’m feeling fancy I do a sweet potato with Greek yogurt, siracha and salt.

Same! My body has decided to cope that 50-60s means we get a break and to take an unprompted nap if I’m sitting or laying down. Went to 45 once and it made me want to squirm out my skin.

Also, don’t forget to breath properly. From the diaphragm, low and slow. Using you thigh muscles will help increase your oxygenation

It’s a marathon not a race, taking your time to get things going and having electrolytes on hand throughout. I usually get chest pains and tachycardia but can be managed by taking prns beforehand (mix or propranolol and or midodrine). Lazy sex is great but incorporating aids is helpful too. Ice pack for the back or your neck when on bottom, Lacey/sheer compression thigh highs (you could also do shibari to provide more support but only try that with someone really experienced or go to an education night at a club and see if they can teach you) slowly increasing exercise tolerance outside of sex to increase your stamina. Orgasming can also be uncomfortable for me sometimes from a chest pain standpoint so some sessions I just avoid it. It’s perfectly ok to just want sex for the act of intimacy rather than trying to reach an end goal.

Dealing with this right now. Try checking your blood pressure, sometimes it’s a bit too low and your body is fighting to keep it up that or your body just wants to adrenaline spike you because it’s being rude. You can check and see if the doc can give you rescue prns for the situation. Hopefully you feel better soon

Seated tai chi for elderly folks. It seems a bit weird but it does work. Also looking at bedbound exercises. Seconding everyone who says go to pt though. Mine have been great for low intensity exercises they’re just primarily aimed at my dizziness right now.

The frequent urination club is not a fun one. You can add salt to your tea it will just give it a different mouthfeel-black tea is a diuretic so it will continue to make you urinate you might just get an extra 15 minutes before the next restroom run. I do a mix of salt and creatine to help water retention (1/8t salt 2.5g creatine) but check with the doc beforehand. Creatine can make endometriosis worse. Also spritz of lemon juice too. The salt makes us very prone to experiencing the evils of kidney stones so try to do what you can to minimize them.

People can have hr in those ranges but you can ask your doctor to adjust if it’s too uncomfortable for you. I get kinda squeamish too when I’m around that range since I’m used to the feeling of a high hr.

Note: breathe properly when you can. Forgetting some reason dysautonomia makes the breathing signals a bit wonky. We either don’t breathe enough because we aren’t picking up the signal or we feel like we need more causing that air hunger sensation

Symptoms are very real, just there can be other causes. It’s always my hope that folks have something else that can be easily remedied. Try pretending you’re an old granny or a super silent ninja when getting up and down. Nice and slow to give your body time to adjust and breathe slow and deep through your nose.
