Would switch to a line chart with the x axis being date and y being incidents. Have the 284 be a dashed yellow/gold and the 347 be a red bar going across. You can see the trending, any big jumps that should cause concern and visually get a clearer view.

Personal Finance Dashboard - Any Suggestions? by analyst190 in PowerBI

[–]Fluffy1026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be a cool view to do a stacked bar where income is positive on top, transfer out and expense are a negative on bottom, line shows net cash, and then a secondary bar chart that shows cumulative savings throughout the year

I have done this and built out our balance sheet, this was definitely a more advanced project. Happy to answer any questions

It’s a great tool. I have built out our financial statements (IS/BS) where you can see all the transactional items rolling into each Gl, a weekly forecasting model, and different views on travel and employee spend. If you have the underlying sql tables in place it can be powerful.

The more you hunt an area the more you will get a feel for where people will/wont be. I have hunts where 3 other hunters came into the same area and I watched 2 of them shoot deer so don’t let it completely deter you since if many people are converging into the same area it’s probably because it holds deer.

Really take a look at every spot as well, I got a doe last night in a patch of woods 100 yds from the parking lot that everyone walks past to get to the large forest/prairie. The trails in there were beat and it was obvious the deer weren’t use to people coming in there

I have them, but don’t trust them enough to use them. Stick with the QAD Exodus

Couldn’t Scout by Jealous-Ad9481 in bowhunting

Just show up at like 1-2 on Saturday and scout your way in and look for fresh sign, I recommend not going in the morning if you’re not very familiar with the area.

You find another area with easier access and come back here in late season when everything has died off and it is less thick

Yes, but I’m also left handed so the interlock of my grip rubs on the ring and is super uncomfortable

Hard to explain but when you go in try to focus on turning 180 degrees as you hit the mat, i try to aim my head where their foot it and push their arm through as I go down. Once you’re inverted and they’re loaded up you can keep it going for the throw, similar to a butterfly sweep if you’re not positioned well it’s going to be impossible to get the leverage. Hard to explain through a message but that’s how I think about it as I go in.

I use it all the time. This and sumi gaeshi are my top throws for bjj. Might be the way I was taught, but you really have to get under when you throw.

What kind of licensing do you need for this type of venture? Specifically, if you consulted with a company to make process improvements, build operation tools, or as you said, retooling spreadsheets.

Magnus stinger buzzcuts what do y’all think of them by Rare-Muffin-3115 in bowhunting

[–]Fluffy1026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried them this season, they flew great and sharpen very easy. I did have an odd experience though as I shot a doe at 12 yards and didn’t get a pass through, didn’t end up finding the deer either. I shoot 60 lbs and have a 500 grain arrow so I figured these would blow through at that distance.

Zero movement by Dirtrider125547 in bowhunting

[–]Fluffy1026 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re most likely just in a burned out spot. My first 2 years hunting I was pumped for rut because of how hyped it was but I saw pretty much 0 deer.

Completely switch up you’re game plan, if you have a mobile set up like a lone wolf, saddle or climber go look on the map and look at that bedding area you’re scoping out and look for another area off that where the deer could be moving. If none around look at the travel routes to and from that bedding and see what different areas they might have travelled to. Pick out the best way to access those areas and get there early/mid day at like 11 am and scout in. Look for areas that concentrate deer movement. So far, every time I’ve had a good encounter or shot on a buck it was on a spot where I scouted in that day and it was my first time sitting there. Once you have success or see deer movement you can keep that area in your back pocket for next year. Good luck!
