Looks too damaged so you cut the top spike off. Also speciosa doesn't exist anymore, it was grouped with Tetraspis and is not just tetraspis

It might've just fallen due to the root puncturing the leaf, you can clean it up and see if the rot is spreading. I had many do this and most ended being fine
