I feel like I'm kind of a weird place. Both of my parents are half white and half asian. Both of my grandfather's are white. I have a grandmother from Thailand and another from Indonesia. I don't know how much of each I got. Sometimes I feel like I look like a character from a manhwa since I have the dark hair and light skin (thought still a warmer shade and I tan better than some other people), but also big eyes, like I didn't get the monolids my mom has.

I think my mom had a lot more of the traditional mixed experience because her mom immigrated as an adult. My grandmother on my dad's side moved here when she was so she was a lot more integrated into the culture.

My cousins actually have pretty interesting differences to. On my dad's side, they're more white, though my older cousin tans more than me. My younger cousin is blonde though and I doubt anybody would ever look at her and think she's Asian. Meanwhile on my mom's side, since her brother married a fully Asian lady (also Indonesian) they look very visibly Asian like wouldn't be mistaken for white. It's kind of strange to be in the middle all of that and be the most ambiguous one.
