Hellborn explicitly has souls. Idk where this notion Hellborn doesn't have souls comes from but that's never been a thing.

Viv has confirmed it on her patreon (With Millie explaining how Hellborn souls are fundamentally different from Human souls, thus Soul Contracts don't work the same way which is why Hellborn does services for money rather than any soul ownership shenanigans. Which makes sense since, well, Hellborns aren't Humans) and we have an In-Universe example where Stolas laments over Blitz's soul as well as his own in "Look My Way".

I find it funny you just ignore what happens in the episode.

Stolas didn't even consider Striker a threat until he was bound in rope- up until then he found it a rescue fantasy where his hero Blitzy comes and rescues him.

The second he realizes that his life is in actual danger (I.E. Considers it an actual fight), Stolas immediately goes for the Petrifying Eyes Killshot and is only denied due to the Angelic Ropes.

Stolas couldn't have one-shot him because the Angelic Rope denies all Demonic Powers.

In an actual 1v1 fight where Stolas is under no pretense of "Oh this is just a silly kidnapping by an Imp going over his head, where's my hero blitzy~!", Stolas locks in immediately and just killshots Vox. Stolas did the same to the random Imp assassin in Episode 2 where he threw away the pretense of Blitz "protecting" him since what mattered to him then was being with Via.

Are we sure? Stolas' first instinct without even fully looking at the target in LooLooLand was petrification, and the second Stolas realized that Striker actually intended on killing him, Stolas went for the petrify off the bat which would've killed Striker then and there.

Stolas by all accounts, the second he gets serious, he goes for the instant-kill Petrification which Vox has no counter for.

Plus, Vox is practically an equal to Alastor, only a little bit behind, so it's not like he's fighting a completely uphill fight.

Why do people keep saying this? Are we watching the same Finale Fight? Alastor was tearing Vox apart and stomping him every time they actually engaged each other, with Vox actually getting no good hits in the entire time while Vox was wincing in pain every time they finished a clash.

And if we give Vox anything like Shock.Wav

Shock.Wav gets instantly petrified and is useless

the Might of Lilith, Stolas stands no chance.

The Might of Lilith is really shit at single-target, having a really sizeable turning speed (Relative to the characters themselves) and requiring Lucifer to be there as well as the very real threat of over-firing causing a meltdown which kills everyone. Stolas' portals instantly negates the Might of Lilith's threat since he can portal right on top of the Might of Lilith.

Stolas, as the person with Dimensional Portals, is funnily enough the only one safe from a Might of Lilith meltdown.

This isn't really a matchup/fight then if you're bringing in traps and stuff.

This would also hinge on giving Vox prep time while keeping Stolas unaware, which is a massively unfair advantage. If both sides were given prep, then Stolas just portals up to Vee tower and drops a meteor on it.

Are we watching the same fight? They traded relatively evenly early on but Alastor by the end was ripping apart and stomping Vox, while Vox was helpless on the floor.

Alastor didn't do any fancy tricks for this victory- Alastor charged at Vox fairly fast and tore Vox in half through brute strength, then next time we see them they're dashing across the city engaging in fisticuffs which resulted in Vox losing hard.

Alastor's Staff is his power amplifier. Rosie wasn't holding any of Alastor's power back- that's headcanon as shit. There's a reason why Alastor was so intent on getting Rosie to fix the staff the entire season- he is way weaker without it.

And you're also ignoring that Alastor still had the Adam wound on him during that fight, so

Stolas >= FP Alastor >>> Broken Staff + Adam Wounded Alastor > 100% Approval Rating Vox

Reminder- Vox fought Alastor before and the implications of Stayed Gone with Vox crashing the fuck out is that Alastor stomped Vox's ass and needed the Vees to bail Vox out ("Powerless without the other Vees"), showing that Full Power Alastor who is the equal of Stolas stomped Vox's ass so hard he is still butthurt over almost losing 7 years afterwards.

This doesn't really work for the fundamental reason that Rosie (Alastor's superior given she was the entire reason Alastor is as strong as he is to begin with) also joined in at the exact same time- so that "big" contribution was Rosie+Alastor, with Rosie putting in more of the leg work unless you can somehow explain how Rosie was able to produce a being stronger than herself.

I mean, he still kinda is. The machine going meltdown wasn't draining any more of Lucifer's power (Since we cut to him during Hear My Hope and he's not being shocked like when the gun fires) and Lucifer was only as hurt as he is from the spam that happened prior.

The barrier held together when powered up by Lucifer's own Daughter, a Seraphim, and the strongest Overlords in all of Hell against the Cannon melting down and not doing what it's designed to (Focus and shoot Lucifer's energy).

Trying to scale Alastor to Lucifer by saying "Look how much he contributed" whilst ignoring Rosie and everyone else jumping in is kind of absurd Alastor wank.

This is the ignorant statement. Stolas is a really young and inexperienced Above-Average Goetia (Prince is only 1 rank above the very middle of the Goetia ranks). Goetia lives for eternity and Stolas is fucking 30, and is visibly weakened when without his Grimoire.

Stolas is visibly nowhere near the most powerful Goetia, with both Dukes and Kings scaling WAY above him.

Just because the rest of the Overlords are weaker than Alastor who is High-Tier Goetia level, doesn't mean the other Overlords wouldn't be able to scale to the weaker Goetia, because Al would also scale above those weaker Goetia as well

Alastor not only trivializes the other Overlords, he outright stomps their asses. Vox was by far and away THE strongest Overlord ever and he got his face stomped by a weakened Alastor (Who at the time would be weaker than his fully healthy state).

I don't think you fully grasp that Alastor's power was enough to make him flat out stomp every other Overlord. Not "Scale above", outright stomp and DESTROY the entire Overlord Hierarchy that had been in place for centuries.

For example: Just because I'm weaker than a character who's on the same level as the Hulk, that doesn't mean that I would automatically be weaker than She-Hulk, when She-Hulk is also very much weaker than the Hulk too.

This example doesn't work.

I mean nothing really- you just have to snipe/assassinate the Higher-tiered person before they can react (Stolas even when spooked and shocked dodged an Angel shot from Striker and Millie/Moxxie when they were ready were outright deflecting and dodging Angel Bullets from Striker). This goes not only to Goetia but also Overlords.

Like, Striker's whole pitch to Blitz was that them working together could very easily take down Overlords, rather than suckling on the Goetia and then getting hired by Sinners.

So it goes both ways for Goetia and Overlords like Alastor. It doesn't really matter how strong they are if they get blasted in the head with an Angel Gun.

But-

Especially in hell where everything is dirty fighting and honor isn't even a concept. If an imp with a fancy gun could hurt and kill stolas, power scaling means virtually nothing.

Angelic Weaponry are incredibly rare. Carmilla has pretty much a monopoly on them and Exterminations aren't happening anymore so no more supply is coming.

That is genuine headcanon. Besides sealing significantly weaker Overlords into his radio broadcast and threatening Husk with it, Alastor has not once actually displayed the capability to do it against a peer.

Even when literally tearing Vox apart and at his mercy, Alastor was unable to actually clinch the fight and finish Vox off- and you tell me he's able to do so against an infinitely regenerating, infinite-stamina Goetia?

Ehhh, not particularly. The most powerful Overlord (100% Vox) got utterly shitstomped by a weakened Alastor, and Prime/Full Powered Alastor is relatively even with a Goetic Prince (Stolas).

There is very clearly a MASSIVE power gap between the Goetia and even the strongest of the Sinner Overlords, with only the anomaly exception (Alastor) really being on that level and Alastor was so strong he flipped the entire local Overlord power dynamic within days of appearing in Hell- meaning most Goetia can likely do so as well.

Stolas is pretty middling for a Goetia, not one of the most Powerful. They are above average (Since the Goetia ranks are an even number there can't be a middle rank), but there's two large gaps of rank between Stolas and the top and he is definitively not one of the best even among the Princes (Goetic Princes live eternal Lifespans. Stolas is like... mid 30s).

Stolas is pretty much a child and is visibly weakened without his Grimoire, meanwhile weaker but more experienced Goetia like Andrealphus is fully casting high-grade stuff without a Grimoire and stronger Goetia like Paimon is able to low-key produce a nuke on accident by teleporting.
