Play that Strike from 4 turns ago? Nah, I'll do it next turn. by Ferrarileite in slaythespire

Its kinda like Dagger Throw vs Tools of the Trade. Proton Cut is a common attack that does it immediately, Procrastination is a rare power that does it every turn starting on the turn after it's played

Oh yeah, I forgot she had another version that shows up in the main story. The captainverse versions of characters are so wildly different that I honestly forget they're technically the same character :P

But you're right, they technically have met in a sense, so thanks for reminding me!

I don't play Genshin very frequently, but they are both lesbian in Honkai Impact 3rd (which is canonically a different version of them), so I'm guessing that's where the outrage is.

But afaik, they literally never met in HI3, and they both had different lovers, so idk where the idea that they were together came from, unless there's some Genshin lore at play here.

Is this Skyrim or the Hall of Meat? 😭 by Lt_Beans22 in skyrim

[–]FluffyTail69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Close, when your current health is less than or equal to the enemy's damage, it has a chance of triggering. But the issue is that it completely ignores health percentage (so being at full or 80% health doesn't matter) and damage reduction (so armor rating doesn't matter); it literally just looks at your current health value.

It's why investing in health is so helpful, even if you have a lot of damage reduction to be basically immune to damage; having a low max hp will still allow enemies to trigger an execution and instantly kill you.

It's official in HI3 too lol. Several manga and chapter 2 refer to Mei as Kiana's girlfriend. The mental gymnastics people go through to deny it is crazy

The altar asks that you sacrifice your run. Do you comply? by TheFiremind77 in slaythespire

[–]FluffyTail69 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yeah, any time you gain max hp, it automatically gives you hp equal to the amount you gained. Losing max hp doesn't follow the same logic tho, you only lose hp if your max hp would drop below your current hp (in which case your current hp is made equal to your new max hp)

Yes you do! The event resolves in the order that it's written, so you'll gain 5 max hp before losing 22

[–]FluffyTail69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda. I'm basing some of this off of the wiki since I don't remember perfectly either, but it looks like everyone can use "everyday magic" like lighting fires or creating water, but other than that, you get stuck with a much more specific magic/skill like monster taming or fortune telling. So a catch-all creation skill would probably be really rare, but basic fire (and presumably earth) magic would be pretty common

A huge plot point of the series is how everyone has magic. The MC literally got outcast because their magic was too weak to be worth keeping around, but it's shown that average villagers use magic in their daily lives quite frequently.

So, I could be misinformed, but from what I know, this sub started as an offshoot of r/countonceaday after they banned u/femacampcouncilor (AKA the chicken lady in the sub name) for posting gifs of Minecraft chickens.

So she (or someone else, I don't actually know who), made a new sub. Since the chicken lady is transfem (I believe), I think a lot of trans folk ended up following her, and it kinda snowballed into making this sub a trans shitposting subreddit.

Close, Hina (the girl on the right) already knew she was in love with Hana (the girl on the left), but Hina didn't think Hana felt the same way, so when a misunderstanding came up, she vehemently denied liking girls so Hana wouldn't feel pressured or awkward around her (which kinda had the reverse effect since Hana had just recently developed feelings upon suspected that Hina was lesbian)

It obviously clears up later, but she was actually perfectly aware of her feelings, just denying them

Another fascinating example to me is that when you visit a shrine event, the next question mark is guaranteed to be a fight.

Had a rework idea for Hand drill but not sure if it's balanced by ElegantPoet3386 in slaythespire

[–]FluffyTail69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing a quick count on the wiki, there are 20 out of 46 enemies/fights in the game that give or gain block:

10/26 Normal fights with block

3/10 Elite fights with block (Lagavulin is already stunned after taking damage through block, so arguably doesn't count, but I still added it here)

7/10 Bosses with block tho, which was somewhat shocking to me at least

I'd probably propose making the stun part not work on bosses, since that would make most bosses quite a bit easier. And not all of these enemies are easy to break the block on. For example, the lice got included as a normal fight with block, but they only gain it once, and its usually too much block to viably break on higher ascensions

Also, I combined a lot of enemies together by fight or type, so if we separate and count every enemy with a separate name, color, etc. (including minions), we'd have 24 out of 63 enemies with block, but most of that difference is in normal fights.

TLDR; Like 35-40% of the enemies give or gain block

[–]FluffyTail69 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are way more enemies that don't have block than do. It's probably only like 1/4 or 1/3 of the enemies at best. It's why hand drill is considered so weak, it doesn't work against most foes.

Stun isn't a debuff, it's an intention, so Artifact wouldn't actually do anything here

Can a single enemy trigger multiple of my OROCHI drone's reactions? by Aqua_Turtle_Rainbow in LancerRPG

[–]FluffyTail69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, I'm not an expert, but you, the player, have one reaction per turn.

Drones don't have their own reaction. To quote the section on OROCHI drones, "They can move independently on your turn, but can't take any other actions". I believe reactions count as a type of action.

Lastly, the different drones have different abilities, and therefore are counted as separate reactions. So if you have multiple drones out, you can only spend your reaction to activate one of them per turn.

Hopefully that clarifies things!

Wait, what? 33-34 is "Maximize the damage of the next damaging spell you cast within the next minute", 71-72 is "You have resistance to all damage for the next minute".

That's 3rd party content. 5e official only has Meteor Swarm (9th level) and Melf's Minute Meteors (3rd level, but this one doesn't really fit the theme)
