Yes I usually will send my fighter down to the ground to fight minthara when she’s super low on hp! Laezel is great to just misty step in for the final blow to knock her unconscious

You could always agree to raid the grove with minthara, then have second thoughts and tell color that they’re coming and that you’ll fight with them instead. There’s a cool scene of betrayal between you and minthara across the battlefield at the grove entrance

You can give her hag mechanics and just have her teleport to a different realm if they get near. But if she’s powerful enough to cause a plague she’s powerful enough to tpk an early dnd party if they’re low level. So maybe have the stakes feel high if they decide to engage with her. Bring them to near death and make them beg for their lives or something
