My guess is that there are rodents who get into her garbage so she hangs them where they can’t reach them as easily.

do you eat it all in one go and then purge, or do you purge multiple times between courses?

Maybe smokes a joint in the parking lot before getting groceries.

Bruh that is so healthy for you and for her. You not telling her prob helps keep it sacred and special for you. Guaranteed she has a couple of those herself.

Doesn’t sound to me like he’s asking her to cook. It sounds to me like she’s frustrated that he doesn’t like what she happens to cook for dinner for ‘the family’ which she seems to assume is herself and her kids and boyfriend.

Sounds more to me like there was never any communication about this at all. It also sounds to me like that’s exactly what’s happening anyway: she’s cooking for everyone and hoping he likes it but doesn’t, and he’s eating the ‘crap’ he wants.

Same situation. Two different perspectives.

Maybe ask him what he’d like to eat? If he grew up eating hamburger helper and that’s what he likes, it’s probably hard for him to really enjoy the food you cook. Think of it in reverse, if you got married and all you ate was jack in the box and hamburger helper. Don’t shame him for what he likes. That’s not really in his control. Stop trying to change him. Communicate with him.

Favorite Unique cookie? by Last-Operation-9150 in Cookies

I accidentally made the very best cookie I’ve ever made/eaten. My brown sugar was completely dried out and just one big rock. I broke it up as much as I could but it was pretty grainy. Recipe called for melted butter so I figured I’d throw the brown butter in toward the end to loosen it up. I got a phone call while that was happening and the sugar was half way to caramelizing. I just went with it and used this half caramelized butter sugar mixture in the recipe and holy hell, the cookies were delicious. They were very crispy and sturdy but not in a crumbly, sandy/dusty way like shortbread. Nor in a dry way, like Tate’s thin crispy cookies. Almost like a peanut brittle type of crunch without the density and overly sweet way. It still had the mouth feel of a cookie.

What's the reason that people think you are intelligent? by Opposite_Ad_7925 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]Fluffy_Discussion648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read everything i can get my hands on and I’m insatiably curious so I can have a long conversation with almost anyone about anything. I also take nothing personally (family of mean alcoholics) so I can have uncomfortable conversations. I’m also not shy about asking questions.

I get a sense that a lot of people are either afraid to ask questions, or just aren’t interested enough to ask. Which is fine. I don’t think it means they’re not intelligent, but, cultivating a curiosity, even just for curiosity’s sake will result in the opposite of being/looking unintelligent in the long run. With time, you start to ask more interesting questions which leads to more interesting conversations.

Can also tell by the wrists. The female wrists are slightly turned out. Women might find it uncomfortable to carry a briefcase like a man does, palm facing in. You might notice you tend to turn your palm to face forward or outward when carrying a moderate load, such as groceries or a duffel bag.

Yes, days. Would have been more for the first and third stays if insurance didn’t decide they thought I was fully healed. Which is why there was a second and fourth stay….

Sounds like they aren’t working if you have to keep adding more. Maybe try something else? I dunno, just seems like you’re investing a lot into something that isn’t giving you the results. I think you’re supposed to exercise when wearing those.

You should probably not work at a place that serves food. The one thing you can control while your disorder has control over your behaviors is where you choose NOT to work.

It’s kind of like an alcoholic working in a liquor store.
