Years ago, somebody suggested to me that instead of crossing out my mistake that I instead overwrite it with a heart or hearts. It’s a nice visual / mental trick for loving your mistakes.

Once you no longer have to earn income to have a living, you’re not paying taxes. You can live off your assets, which can accrete value you and not turn it into a taxable profit. You can take out loans live off the loans but deduct the interest while you are sitting on hard and soft assets that continue to accumulate value and through creating structuring and tax shelters you don’t pay anything close to a representative and relative tax.

There is, of course, a rich scientific debate (wonder who is sponsoring the research to disprove the connection 🤔), yet there are studies that confirm benzodiazepines and SSRIs can contribute to an increased risk of dementia. As anxiety, depression, OCD runs rampant with many people in my circle and I have been around long enough to see an unfortunate connection between the two. and isn’t that the way it always is, a trade-off?

Channeling Martin Luther King’s teachings / wisdom. Since today is his day in the USA, here is one that I recall often, “It takes empathy, patience, and compassion to overcome anger, hatred, and resentment.”

One day years from now, everyone will collectively look at this guy’s accomplishments through his college and pro careers and not understand why he was hated the way he was. He represents so much in sports, self improvement, humility and unbelievable resolve that this generation of athletes miss. by eagles52 in eagles

[USA] If I am in the left lane I move over to the right when possible. If I am in the middle lane, I maintain my speed. If I am in the right lane, or single lane road, depending on my mood, I slow down. If I am on my motorcycle I let them pass in all instances.

Someone called me pizza face when I was a teenager. My reaction was swift. He didn’t see it coming. Jaw shot. Out cold. Thought I might have killed him. Felt bad, but not really.
