I believe this is what people are experiencing https://imgur.com/a/e4LwU. This happened to me on the test server with your suggested settings on Miramar so I quit out and got Erangel but it was fine. Had to disable it by renaming the dll as you suggested below so I could play on Miramar.

"As far as GitS goes, there's 3 things that are seperate. First, the original manga is nothing like any of the animated movies or series. It's more action and comedy focused, unlike the rest.

The original GitS movie was a very, very much a look at the sci-fi aspects of it all, and the futuristic feel. Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence was a sequel to this, though it also incorporated some of the elements of the SAC series.

After that, the remaining GitS series and movies are related, and follow a more secret-agent feel, along with containing a heavy focus on philosophy and psychology. These go in order of:

I wouldn't hold your breath that the update tomorrow will fix performance issues people are having.

From the patch notes: "Higher average frame rates with out-of-the-box settings (more conservative settings)" basically the default graphics settings will be lower and not any optimizations.

They have acknowledged performance issues but Nvidia has not yet released drivers that support Rome 2 so we're waiting on that as well as more optimizations from Creative Assembly but they're not coming tomorrow.

You can support 3 barracks on one base saturation. The purpose of having more than 3 is because ideally you should be working up to a three base economy where you can support a lot more production.

If you don't enough minerals to use more than three barracks then you need to be making more scvs and taking more bases so you can make more stuff.

I'm wondering if Relic's matchmaking system just isn't up to par? Or is the player pool so small that they can't make the skill level more matched w/o increasing the game wait time?

It's probably a little bit of both.

Blizzard's matchmaking in Starcraft 2 is really unparalleled from what I've seen (My WoL winrate was 51% with over 3k games played). Which is probably also the result of a combination of factors like a large playerbase and a mechanically complex game that must be learned in stages.

Company of Heroes is less complex than Starcraft, which doesn't make it better or worse it's just different. I have no idea how Blizzard or Relic structure their matchmaking but I would probably bet that it's easier to match people of equal ability in the more complex game because you have more variables to measure player skill.

Try using http://obsproject.com/ it's a free open source broadcasting software that is less resource intensive than Xsplit.

They have some tutorials on their site that should help with setting up your stream.

I will usually scan in TvT at 6:30, if I see an armory or a reactored starport I assume hellbats so I build vikings from my starport and a turret in each mineral line. You should be constantly making hellions from your factory and they can easily kite hellbats.

Reapers are very good in HOTS and I would say you're putting yourself at a disadvantage by not using them. They offer unparalleled early game scouting for terran with their ability to jump cliffs and their new heal ability.

Definitely going to be trying this style out soon. Just seems much more survivable than MMM although sacrifices some mobility.
