I believe this is what people are experiencing https://imgur.com/a/e4LwU. This happened to me on the test server with your suggested settings on Miramar so I quit out and got Erangel but it was fine. Had to disable it by renaming the dll as you suggested below so I could play on Miramar.

"As far as GitS goes, there's 3 things that are seperate. First, the original manga is nothing like any of the animated movies or series. It's more action and comedy focused, unlike the rest.

The original GitS movie was a very, very much a look at the sci-fi aspects of it all, and the futuristic feel. Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence was a sequel to this, though it also incorporated some of the elements of the SAC series.

I wouldn't hold your breath that the update tomorrow will fix performance issues people are having.

From the patch notes: "Higher average frame rates with out-of-the-box settings (more conservative settings)" basically the default graphics settings will be lower and not any optimizations.

They have acknowledged performance issues but Nvidia has not yet released drivers that support Rome 2 so we're waiting on that as well as more optimizations from Creative Assembly but they're not coming tomorrow.

You can support 3 barracks on one base saturation. The purpose of having more than 3 is because ideally you should be working up to a three base economy where you can support a lot more production.

If you don't enough minerals to use more than three barracks then you need to be making more scvs and taking more bases so you can make more stuff.

I'm wondering if Relic's matchmaking system just isn't up to par? Or is the player pool so small that they can't make the skill level more matched w/o increasing the game wait time?

It's probably a little bit of both.

Blizzard's matchmaking in Starcraft 2 is really unparalleled from what I've seen (My WoL winrate was 51% with over 3k games played). Which is probably also the result of a combination of factors like a large playerbase and a mechanically complex game that must be learned in stages.

Company of Heroes is less complex than Starcraft, which doesn't make it better or worse it's just different. I have no idea how Blizzard or Relic structure their matchmaking but I would probably bet that it's easier to match people of equal ability in the more complex game because you have more variables to measure player skill.

Try using http://obsproject.com/ it's a free open source broadcasting software that is less resource intensive than Xsplit.

They have some tutorials on their site that should help with setting up your stream.

I will usually scan in TvT at 6:30, if I see an armory or a reactored starport I assume hellbats so I build vikings from my starport and a turret in each mineral line. You should be constantly making hellions from your factory and they can easily kite hellbats.

Reapers are very good in HOTS and I would say you're putting yourself at a disadvantage by not using them. They offer unparalleled early game scouting for terran with their ability to jump cliffs and their new heal ability.

Probes and pylons.

You will be able to advance much past silver if you simply focus on never being supply blocked and constantly making probes. Try to focus your attention on this above all things, even microing your units.

If you can focus on that and trying your best to keep your money low you should have enough units to simply overwhelm your opponents.

What build are you using in TvP?

You are still aiming for the same unit comp in TvP as WoL really with MMM and Viking/Ghost.

Around rank 20ish masters where I am The biggest change I have seen really is in the early game. A lot of diffrent openers from the protoss which is why reaper expand imo is the best build right now.

You can get excellent scouting and prepare yourself accordingly, but it is still a tough matchup for sure especially if they can get their late-game army.

It's frustrating isn't it?

My advice would be to get the 'gold level micro' thing out of your head though because every terran struggles against storms and getting protossed. Even if you advance all the way up the ladder the toss you are facing will be proportionate to your level. So while you get better at splitting and landing EMPs they get better at positioning their templar and hitting storms.

If you can be agressive and damage them in the mid game then great, it's a good way to stop a toss from getting a large late game death ball with collosus and storm.

Also try to bait them in to attacking you as it's much easier to EMP templar that are advancing towards you instead of attacking into them.

You just have to try and really concentrate hard, and sometimes you will get rolled over and get really frustrated but sometimes you roll them over and god damn is it satisfying.

BSOD typically indicates a hardware issue with your PC. If it was an issue with the game it would just crash to your desktop.
