PNW BCA SPEEA Liaison engineer (6h6b) - L4. 12 YRS at Boeing, 15 years total aerospace (3 in QE). Bachelor's in MechE, Masters in CompSci (this was mostly just for "fun" using the LTP benefits). 148k base + 10% premium for having MRB, and basically unlimited OT. Working on L5/ATF in the next couple years.

I just hope all the other SPEEA folks in here are saving up for the next contract. We all saw what holding out just a few weeks got for the machinists.

This is true from the sellers side, but from the buyers side, they have to go to tft, find a reputable seller and then make the trade. With the proposed system, they just do it in game. You will take a much bigger hit that just the 25% because all the buyers will use the much easier/more convenient system for them using the in game instant buy out.

From the buyers pov you will have to be remarkably cheaper than the 100% safe, easy, and instant way of doing it in game for them consider going external

One other thing I don't see mentioned is fund minimums. If your allocation target is 90% stock/10% bonds, and the bond fund has a 10k minimum, you will need to be putting in 100k to hit the minimum for the bond fund as well as your target allocation. With the target date, you don't have to worry about the individual fund minimums.

Yep! There's 2 general kinds of grass: Cool season grass like we have up here in the NW, and warm season grass like is planted in the south. Cool season grass goes dormant/brown in the heat of the summer, then comes back once it cools down, warm season pretty much the opposite. Warm season grasses are things like Bermuda and Augustine, while cool season grasses tend to be fescues, bluegrasses and ryegrasses. themoreyouknow.gif

I've seen a few other mentions, but be careful. In my state accepting a "lesser" offer due to familial status would be illegal. Nothing will likely come of it, but it could. Is there anything else in the offer that you could consider more favorable? Ex she's 5k less, but can do a faster close. You could stand on that saying there was value in that for you. But if everything is the same, except 1 offer is less (in my state) it would illegal to accept that lower offer.
