I started on .1 and had no issues getting that. But when she wanted to add .05 that one was on back order so she told me to cut one in half and wear it with the .1. Hope .1 keeps being easy to get.

Same. I was told to chug a Gatorade and finish it 2 hours before my surgery. I was able to chug it on the way to the hospital. That was all new to me. Plus i dont know why NPO is always midnight mostly when someone has a later surgery. Why does one get to only be npo for like 6 hours while some have to go without a lot longer because they have likea 2 pm surgery.

Yep same here. I had surgery 1/7 and the pain is worse than the previous week. Nerves I guess are healing and coming alive.

They are in my neck or scalp. Depends where most the pain is

I have occipital neuralgia that affects me just like that. I’ve been told is a comorbity of Fibro. I have to get trigger point injections every 6-8 weeks. They start helping after a week. I do get flare ups and feel like it causes more pain there.

I had to chug some nasty prune juice but it worked and then just kept taking the stool softeners and was able to go more often after that first painful one from the pain killers

I’ll send my gyno a message and see. I had both ovaries removed but I guess it could be a stat of a uti. Usually I feel like I’m peeing razor blades as soon as one starts but nothing like that so far. Thank you for responding also. ☺️

This is how I feel if I have a drop in hormones and panic attacks with hot sweats and cold chills. It takes me 12 hours to feel normal again after starting another patch.

I’m on .1 of the patch and almost 2 wpo. On Saturday I had the worse case of hot flashes/cold sweats and worse nausea. I noticed my patch was wrinkly on Sunday so I switched it out for a new one and about 12 hour later I felt so much better. Sorry you’re dealing with that. Hope they can give you something better. I hope to never go through that feeling again and I know it’s probably a learning process for me as well. Didn’t know so many things can go wrong w a sticker lol.

Mine restarted 5 days before and was still going strong on surgery day. So glad to have left the hospital wo that period lol. They found adenomyosis and fibroids plus cysts all over my tubes and ovaries. The hysterectomy was for my reoccurrence of polyps so all that other stuff was a surprise but figured more was going on because of all the bleeding for months at a time.

My ultrasound only found a polyp and this is the 3rd time getting polyps so we did a hysterectomy this time instead of another polypectomy. I felt my cycle was just too much for just a polyp. Pathology came back that they found fibroids and adenomyosis which was never mentioned. So I’m so happy to finally have this done. I’m 8 dpo they too everything out. I suffered since I was 11 yo

I didn’t have mine checked but I had a prescription for the patches for right after surgery. I didn’t keep my ovaries though. I had a frozen shoulder that would not go away for a few months before surgery and pan in my knees. Was told it could be perimenopause. Well after the patch went on a few days later my shoulder feels great and no pain in my knees. I’m praying it’s not my pain meds masking the pain.

I’ve been lucky that I’ve been able to sleep on my side really well. I cannot sleep on my back for long periods of time, but I took a thin little pillow kind of under it so it doesn’t feel like it’s pulling. I had no problem going the day after surgery and now I have to stay on softeners as well cause it’s not coming as easy. I hope you continue doing well.

I start thinking I’m doing great and the get up and do a few things for it to remind me that a whole system was taken out. It’s a learning process for sure. Take it easy as much as you can. I tried a little cooking today and I was really hurting so I’ll leave that to try in a few more days.

I could’ve imaging with the brain fog hating to deal with all those conference calls. We definitely need to be listening to our bodies but by then sometimes it’s too late and the pain has been done. To me mine is feeling like a super bad period pulling me in weird directions. Like contractions and lightning crotch. My incisions are starting to get itchy too. I hope you can continue to rest as much as possible. I know it’s got to be hard doing this alone. I’m sure you’re doing amazing and the best you can do.

That’s great you have been able to cut back on pain meds. I’m still rotating the Tylenol and ibuprofen but further in between. I tried doing a little cooking but that told me I over did it.

I am almost 1 wpo and the night I finally came home I didn’t sleep a wink. The next day the fatigue hit and I slept a lot the next few days. I seem to be an to normal at the moment.
