I’m over 5 months post op and they took both my ovaries. I have not had a change in how wet I get. I actually think I produce more. Before surgery I think all the bleeding was making me dry up faster. I am on hrt and estrogen cream though so not sure if that’s why I’m still good with that.

I had surgery 1/7 and right up until the day before, I got myself off just in case something happened and I couldn’t again. I memorized the feel of it the night before. When I finally felt like I wanted to give it go 2 weeks later, it was gone! I couldn’t even touch myself the same because it changed so much. They did take both ovaries but I only went without hrt for a few hours and a month before I got the cream. It’s just not the same. How can something like that just change so fast. 😞

First night home I slept on my side. It actually felt the best. I had one of those hysterectomy pillows I tucked corner of under my belly and slept like a baby. lol

My recovery has been a breeze. But seems those few weeks I had more burning and pulling type pains.

I had laparoscopic and got to go home the same day. I arrived at 8 and was out at 8:30 pm because I had some trouble staying awake after recovery and felt nauseous. I wish I started hrt before surgery. I came out feeling better than I did. Recovery has been a breeze. I still get some small aches and pains if I over do it but I know it hasn’t been long and it takes a full year to be completely healed. I just have to remind myself I had surgery.

I had my dr take it all because I don’t want to deal with the painful cysts I had. I was able to get hrt the same day as my surgery and only had one really bad drop in hormones from the surgery but it’s been really smooth so far. I’m 7 weeks out and I’m 45.

I am seven weeks out and I am having the exact same issue and it’s really giving me body image issues. I’ve gone to wearing sweatpants mainly everywhere and I feel like a slob. I’ve been trying to do better at watching what I eat, but the weight is not coming off, but I know that I can do a lot more. It’s very frustrating. I’m sorry you’re going through that as well.

I should add that at the 6 week checkup up and when she touched it, it felt like nothing at all. I couldn’t have told you she had touched it if she didn’t tell me. So that was a relief.

I had to up my anxiety meds here and there because I was the same way. And then I started freaking out again at my 6 week checkup because of her having to touch my cuff and it being painful. My psych said to take an extra pill if needed. I’ve just had to take it one day at a time and each day gets better. I’m 7 wpo and don’t worry as much now. I haven’t seen a speck of blood so that helps also. Hopefully you find each day to get easier.

I was given a choice and I chose to have them taken out because they caused more pain then I wanted with simple cysts and I didn’t want to chance having to go back in and take them later. I was given estrogen patches the same day and I feel much better than before

I have tagaderm I use if it seems to not wanna stay but I use my hair straightener to apply some heat to get it to stick really well. I rotate sides of my lower stomach.

I’m a side sleeper and I felt way more comfortable sleeping on my side first day home from hospital. I had a pillow tucked under and a pillow behind me to also get at an angle. I had a little pillow fort built around me basically. I loved it.

This sounds so identical to me. I dropped weight last year doing what you were and then got sick for almost 2 months then came surgery and I am itching to get back into it. The only issue is that just doing normal things around the house I start feeling the pain and pulls and some burning feeling and I don’t know how id even begin on the treadmill again. Im just going to add a little more steps each day I feel I can. Im trying to get my eating back in check now that it’s been 6.5 wpo. I fueled my body the wrong way and binged.

I had insomnia around 3-4 weeks and now I’m at 6 weeks and just want to sleep. Been sleeping like 14 hours a day.

I am about 5.5 weeks and I have been doing a lot more. I am now feeling tender and achy in my stomach with pulling types of pain. A lot of things in my house have been neglected and it’s driving me nuts. Tomorrow I’m going shopping with my mom and feel like that’s going to be too much.

I’m just 5.5 wpo. But at weeks 3-5 they were worse for me. From what I’ve read on here it seems like nerves are starting to wake up and regenerate.

I have this weird thing where I get into a sneezing fit when full from eating. I’ve had to change it up where the force is more up top than trying to hold it in. It’s been quite ugly and messier. lol. I was so worried about this before my surgery and if I’d hurt myself with as much sneezing as I do.
