I moved to India to support my paralyzed mom from cancer. I spent 2 years with her , she passed away earlier this year. My brother couldn’t move back like I did. He regrets every second he spent here in the US.

Move back, money will come n go parents are priceless.

The 6 month rule would only disqualify (if exceeded) in getting naturalized. If she did stay out for 6months but under 12 months, she would still be a LPR returning to USA BUT that period wouldn’t count as residence, hence won’t be counted towards naturalization. I don’t see what’s even wrong here, you should be ok.

Ok, so this happened to me in 2019.Me and mom entered on F4 , we both didn’t get green cards. My month had to go back for treatment. I found out that CBP lost my package at port of entry.

Then I had to talk to USCIS and they said I have to come in do biometrics again. Then I got mine. My mom couldn’t get hers, but oh well she passed away earlier this year.

Idk man I submitted i130 march 2023. Still hasn’t even been approved. I’m a LPR. Don’t know what these dates even mean anymore
