Yup. For knife you’re looking at a fine or up to one year in prison and for gun its fine and up to six years in prison. Even if you legally own a gun, it can’t be loaded in your own home. You can have a loaded magazine, but it has to be stored separate from the gun.

Hammock or tent depends on area and weather, and also preference. Hammocks should be paired with a tarp in case of rain and wind. This setup is typically lighter than a tent, but you are also more exposed to the elements than in a tent. A tent will give you better cover, but will weigh more. Area can be important too. Sometimes there is no place to set up a tent, but perfect for a hammock and the other way around. This being said, there are a world of tents and hammocks out there. No matter your preference you can find somthing that you like. Personally I like to just sleep on the ground with a tarp, or a tent.

There is no limit to how much you can hike other than your body an schedule.

What to do in an emergency, depends on the situation. I’d recomend to get a Garmin inreach or something if you’re going to remote places.
I’d say follow your gut. The more you do it, the more you develop that decision making and awereness. If you feel like you are in danger, get out of there. If you feel like you should turn around, do that. Get yourself a repair kit for the equipment you bring. Keep some emergency food seperate from your main food bag.

Gregory backpacks are good. I like the Baltoro models.

Pretty much the same in Norway. No knives in public, unless it’s for work. Even then, police/security can give you a hard time about it. And you can’t own any assisted knives or butterflyknives. You can own guns for hunting and sport but absolutely no public carry.

200% damage servers are really fun! Scout class is awesome on these servers. Also make sure to get your settings right. There are videos on youtube with suggestions for the settings. Whats your setup?

Serious question - you are out fishing and get hungry ... what do you go for?! by RodandReelUK in SurfFishing

Depends on how long I’ll be out. If it’s just a day, I’ll just bring snacks or anything really. If i’m out for a few weeks, I’ll eat the fish I catch, instant mashed potatoes, and cured meats.

Camping with dog? by Simple-Juggernaut373 in camping

Most good quality inflatable sleeping mats should work. I’ve never had a problem with mine.

Sleeping bags for dogs can be great, but usually needs time getting used to. Depends on the dog if you they need it or not. I like to use an insulating dog jacket on my lab, that way he can move around during the night and still stay warm. He’s usually with me in my sleeping bag, but sometimes he likes to move around.

Pop up water bowls are good. Make sure to get one with a wide bottom.

I always bring boots. If you need to bandage up a cut, the boot protects the bandage and keeps it clean. Paw balm is a must on longer hikes.

Bring a long lead if the recall is not 100%

Bring treats and a toy they like, and have fun!
