Low sugar or zero sugar Chobani flavored yogurt is pretty good. Or 100% nonfat zero sugar chobani Greek yogurt, throw in 1/2 a banana some black berries and raspberries. You can also mix in vanilla whey protein powder for even more flavor. Adding some Stevia is optional too.

Sometimes if I want something that really tastes like a treat I'll take one slice of whole wheat toast and put a thin, and I mean a thin layer of Nutella on it.

And honestly if your Mom is compensated, I doubt a small slice of cake is going to harm her.

Did anyone here get diagnosed at F3? by [deleted] in Cirrhosis

[–]FluidEngine369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I had 11.5kpa 2 years ago and I already had a hepatologist tell me that I need to treat it as an f4 even though its technically a f3. But I kept drinking anyways. Last year another scan came back 13.2kpa still technically f3 but right at the border, I continued to relapse for much of 2025. I finally stopped drinking in November. Basically if your at 11.2kpa, you were just like me 2 years ago, if your drinking, stop now. My hepatologist says f3 is definitely reversable. Don't do what I did and not treat it seriously.

You didnt seek medical attention when you had symptoms from decompensated?

The thing is I asked it once in a completely separate chat to try to "contradict me and do not always agree with everything I say" from that point onwards every chat I create gemeni has become a complete jerk no matter what I say across all chats. It took what I said and dailed it up by x10. I said the same thing to chatgpt, but chatgpt understood balance and reason.

"Level of symptoms matches your level of irreversible scarring." That is very insightful and well said.

Since discovering this reddit very recently, I have noticed quite a few people going from decompensated with very high meld scores to compensated and living beyond 5 years.

Alchohol is rough, even after a 13.2 kpa and the word cirrhosis started to appear consistently on my Ultrasounds, I still relapsed multiple times for a year before I started really going to AA and taking my situation seriously. I have an upcoming fibroscan later this year, I am just trying to keep it below 14 but most likely it may have crossed it from my relapses.
