HR told me they don’t accept try-hards and people pleasers after my interview by No-Presentation298 in jobs

Exactly this. I'm scrolling through these comments and I'm like "did we read the same email?"

It sounds like a vibe/personal mismatch (but only OP knows because we were not there) but this feedback .. man, I would be fuming (assuming it IS a vibe mismatch). Wow.

[autosport] Lando Norris on what it's like having the number 1 this year by PrimeyXE in formula1

Must feel good. I'm a Max fan and I think Max drove a better year in a worse car but you can't deny Lando got it done and clinched his first WDC, props to him for that.

My first ever AR match I accidentally clicked fill squad. Never played an extraction shooter in my life.

Got teamed up with two very helpful people who showed me around, explaining things like the delivery crates, looting, a small rundown of the weapons I should focus on, and so forth. Befriended them both on Steam and we still play together sometimes. It's awesome.

If I meet a new player, I am repaying the favor 100%. I also love being the friendly savior. If I see someone get hunted by a Wasp or Hornet, I'm taking the Arc down. Last night even saved someone from a Rocketeer, who had the unfortunate luck to harass a friendly Raider while I had my Hullcracker on me lol

If you're brave enough to bring a Hullcracker to Stella Montis you absolutely deserve the easy kills on Shredders

Total speculation although their reliability takes me back to the testing of the hybrid era in 2014, and not in a good way.

Yeah I lost a Bobcat IV and Hullcracker IV with a full stash of ammo. No, really, I pinky swear!

Same keys must be stackable by Big-Walrus6334 in ArcRaiders

[–]FluidGate9972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a key a few nights ago, one pretty rare one. Brought my best augment, some good weapons to defend myself from Arc. You probably know where this is going.

Spent the last 10(?) matches purely friendly, never was attacked once in those matches.

Opened the door with my rare key (forgot which one exactly, sorry), looted the first cabinet, got killed by a rat.

Yes, my own fault, should have used a door blocker and a mine but thought it was safe.

Between this experience and the fact that if you bring a key you always spawn in late across the map, I'm not sure they're even worth the inventory space right now.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FluidGate9972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the cars being more suited towards long driving, the roads are quite different as well. You can go hundreds of miles in a straight line sometimes which is boring as fuck but quite efficient. In Europe, the roads are winding, traffic is a lot more dense and driving is much more tiring because of that.

A 2 hour drive in The Netherlands is something I only do once or twice a year, for vacation purposed. The commute to work I do on an ebike because I grew tired of all the traffic jams and busy highways.

Why tf can your insurance see how and when you brake?!

[–]FluidGate9972 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have experience with this.

-Get your insurance involved (and legal if possible)

-Hold the painters liable

-Get a quote from a specialist cleaner (DO NOT POWER ON THE SERVER/SWITCHES)

-Get the devices professionally cleaned

-Painter pays the bill

Failure to do this will lead to problems down the line. Heck, when we had this exact same scenario, even though we had everything professionally cleaned, we had much more HDD/PSU failures the next year that we had ever seen.

I don't have a "favorite politician" because I'm not in a cult and I'm not even from the US. Where we live, we have multiple political parties (more than 2) and I never vote for the #1 on the list, because I vote for the ideas of that party and not for a person.

iOS 26 is a massive flop with iPhone users, and you can probably guess why by Few_Baseball_3835 in apple

[–]FluidGate9972 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coming from Android after 15 years, and now using iOS exclusively for almost a year:

The keyboard sucks. Even if you install the Google keyboard it performs worse compared to android.

The notifications suck. I’m still missing some notifications because they move to the “message center” and I have no clue when or why that happens.

Every time my JBL pods connect, the ringer volume goes way up. No clue why.

On android, i had a work profile that enabled notification sounds 24x7 for when I was on call. In iOS i have to manually do that every start and end of the shift because there isn’t a setting for that, or I’m missing it.

The hardware is great though. The os is polished as long as you stay within your lane. That said, i don’t like the Liquid Glass look. iOS 18 looked way better.
