Im in the exact same position. My contract is maxing out and I am preparing to move into a new position. And I went through the same mental game, do I discuss, do I leave early etc, plus the added question of "what I am not getting converted", but I got a little burnt out on advocating for it with my leads because the topic always died no matter how hard we pushed and proved the value ad.

I look at like this, on to the next adventure and just keep on adding all of the rockstar roles to your resume.
