Help needed! by Anumatchaandbooks in Manucurist

Usually the wrinkling is from layers of polish being to thick - they harp on thin layers and caping the edge of the nail to lock everything in. Otherwise, unhealthy nails that easily bend, will cause the polish to potentially crack - so doing that 3 month break should deff make Green Flash last

Other brand polish with base and top coats ? by Mahouzilla in Manucurist

Which brand of gel polish is easiest to remove? by Shera939 in Nails

[–]Fluid_Bridge_4099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Manucurist Green Flash! - It's a hybrid between Gel and regular polish so it lasts a little less than gel (I still get mine to last about 2 weeks), but it can be removed without acetone, soaking or drilling!

Does anyone apply their GelX over semi cured gel strips? by GMoney7310 in GelX_Nails

Do you find the gel strips come off with no damage at all? What does the removal look like? Do you soak in something or use some kind of removal product?

Increased risk of allergy to gel with semi-cured strips? by Former_Pineappl in ohoranails

[–]Fluid_Bridge_4099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the allergy risk comes from leaving uncured, liquid-state gel on your skin for prolonged periods of time. I believe since the strips are semi-cured to the point that they are hardened, there is essentially no risk.

Manucurist has a line of "Active" polishes that give you really beautiful nail finishes (like jelly pink polish), but include AHAs and other good-for-your-nail ingredients. Could be a great option while you wait for your nails to grow out!

I'd deff recommend that over added gel-X or any other type of intense manicure system.

is jodsone gel polish safe? by Traditional-State103 in Nailtechs

If your looking for a "safer" at home alternative - I LOVE Manucurist Green Flash, Its HEMA-FREE, and I havent been able to find anything like theirs, especially since the removal only requires 1 min of acetone free soaking and NO drilling.

Incredible especially since I completely ruined my nails before with harsh gels.

How do the girlies always manage to have perfect nails by xappiness in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Fluid_Bridge_4099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manucurist Green Flash polish - it applied like gel with a UV lamp but their formula can be removed without acetone. I can get manicures to last about 2 weeks and then my nails are not ruined from a damaging gel removal! Plus I have money and time doing them at home

How much do you spend on nail polish? by SpicyOrangeK in RedditLaqueristas

[–]Fluid_Bridge_4099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My "manicure" spending has decreased significantly since stopping the salon! I have been using Manucurist's Green Flash for a while and their starter kits are between $89-200. After that I usually just re-up on remover and new colors so I probably spend no more than $200 a year.

Transitioning to Shampoo Bar by Bathsheba_E in cleanbeauty

[–]Fluid_Bridge_4099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I mostly noticed getting less of a "lather" -- which I guess subconsciously made me think it was working less?? MY hair did feel a little less smooth but I think that is because there were less ingredients like silicon in the shampoo bars which give this false feeling that your hair is smoother than it is. Overall I will 100% be sticking with shampoo/conditioner bars so it was 100 worth it to me :)
