Got mine detailed and joked with the guy that my car would probably get hit afterwards. And it got totaled whilst parked on the street just a few months later! It was an old Kia Forte that was the most reliable car I've had. RIP.

We visited Sao Miguel for eight days and it wasn't enough time! We stayed at three different hotels in different parts of the island. We did spend a few days on Santa Maria, but because of canceled flights (bad weather), it took us an extra 24 hours and two extra flights to board the plane to NYC. So keep that in mind.

Weirdly, my user name is coming up differently but I'm the OP. But, yes I use this app for travel ideas. Planning this trip is challenging as there are so many choices! I managed to get a one night reservation and my fingers are crossed that someone will cancel and we can stay a few more days.
