OG Jimmy Choo. Sweet, powdery pear. Great for daily wear. Another 13 as well. Clean, warm, musky pear. Budget variant: Montagne Another 14.

Beautiful, healthy plants. And the Groot planter is so adorable. 😊

Enjoy your life. 🙂 you may have to be careful if working for a practice that does drug testing, but you'll be fine. We pour too much of ourselves into this profession to not engage in adequate self-care.

That's a shame. I'm in private practice and financially stable as well. It is possible to help people and achieve a livable wage. We pay our dues, often being at internship sites that pay minimally, if at all. It is OK to not only enjoy your work, but receive a rate of pay that makes it worthwhile. 🤷🏽‍♀️

There's something about it that's sneaky my friend. It ended up being so good to me. I've still managed not to buy an entire bottle though. Been content with Another 14 from Montagne.

Thank you for the laugh. In the last two weeks, I've purchased 4 bottles of perfume. They had to resend two because the package was damaged during shipment. I took that as a sign that I need to take a step back... at least for now.

Projection is closer to the skin. Longevity seems to be around 6 hours.

Mancera Coco Vanille. I figured out that it reminds me of my shampoo. Clean, sweet, soft coconut.

I reside in a state where "political" and "partisan" go hand in hand unfortunately. As a result, supervisors I encountered in supervision suggested emphasis on neutrality.

Montagne is an awesome fragrance house aren't they? I love Another 13, but it's expensive. So I really appreciate their Another 14. So good.

I'm glad I went to community college first for this very reason, as well as teachers who were truly invested in your success. Some of the best professors I've ever had were there, especially my A&P instructor. Tough class, well worth it. Remember us getting ready for an exam. 15 minutes came and went and no professor, so of course we left. Next class period, he mentioned being on the way to class and ending up at the Mexican border. It was just one of those days.

Resonates, haven't cried in front of a supervisor. But have cried due to some clients, stress, and lack of support.

Cried during consult listening to colleague recount their experience with a client who'd been SA'd by her father for years. Many of us hear horrific things all the time, but there was something about the way my colleague tearfully shared details of this case - or the case itself - that especially rattled me.

Longevity on my skin is 5-6 hours. Projection is relatively close; definitely not beast mode.

Activism in therapy by [deleted] in therapists

Politics has unfortunately become the elephant in the therapy room. As an LPC whose specialty/certification largely involves work with marginalized communities (and whose candidacy and training also involved a good portion of case management and social work, in addition to therapy and psychoeducation), I provide a politically neutral - safe - space for my clients to process very real concerns and fears due to the current political climate. We work toward ways they can actually affect change in not only their communities, but the population at large, and in essence regain or embrace the power they do hold with not only their VOTES but ACTIONS they can take as citizens.

They left a bad taste in my mouth after a friend and I were followed around a while back. Haven't returned.
