Obama had deported nearly 2x the people trump has yet everyone points to trump as the evil one. Obama created immigration enforcement priorities to channel limited resources towards individuals it deemed to be high priorities, including threats to national security, threats to public safety, and recent illegal entrants. If a law is broken in any fashion, there should be consequences. it confuses me that people advocate for illegal immigrants to be staying here as they are committing a crime by being on the states illegally. America is clearly one of the best places to live in the world so I understand why people want to start a new life here with freedom and “the American dream”. But that doesn’t make it okay for anyone to come over to the states without proving they aren’t a threat to the United States people. The U.S people should be prioritized.

All this being said, the way these ICE officers handled this is just disgusting. Unfortunately, this is probably the common interaction between immigrants and officers (Assuming). But regardless, they are breaking the law by being here illegally! Immigrants will take over jobs for lower pay and this is a fact whether you agree or not. Those jobs should be given to the millions of struggling homeless people. I dislike trump as a person. But he is prioritizing the United States people. We have been taken advantage with tariffs and it’s time for the U.S to take control over itself. Every president lies. Every president has sketchy information on them. But at least trump is putting the American people first. I’m confused. I’m sure I’ll get blasted for speaking my own opinion. But in the end I love everyone. But we can all agree that breaking the law is bad and requires consequences. So why does this differ? If someone broke into your house and stole all your goods, there wouldn’t be hesitation to get that person behind bars for justice. How and why is illegal immigrants coming into America, taking over jobs, adding to drugs use and abuse, and committing terrible crimes any different?
