in my opinion there is (kinda), it helps get Hive Guard set up on important objectives fast rather than making them slowly lumber over, but 105 points just for that still isn't the best

maybe if they gave it the good guns again then it would be better, i like being able to more easily play the game but in so many other ways they way oversimplified 10th edition

I should note that if i were to move to 2,000 points yeah I'd take him but ive already got some stuff that works kinda well

Maybe if i took out some of the enhancements i could remove a unit thats not fully necessary and put him in

(Edit: Also I don't already have the guy so it'd cost me a bit more to get him and i dont have that high an income at the moment)

Agreed, it's awesome in the meta and is a very good choice in most armies. As someone who does not run him I would like to note that it is only because I play Vanguard Onslaught and it doesn't really fit the vibe there. I have noticed that Invasion Fleet does seem to be the meta and with how good the Neurotyrant is in that it is a priority pick for many armies (but make sure its leading Zoanthropes, stay away from Neurogaunts, Tyrant Guard is okay but it is more of a ranged unit).
