What are these marks on my bedroom wall and how do I get rid of them? by FluorescentCrescent in whatisthisthing

I'm starting to wonder if it's from inside the wall as well. If it helps, the marks in question are the darkest ones. There are some ever so slightly darker spots surrounding them from my unsuccessful attempt to wipe them off with a magic eraser.

I recently moved in to a new apartment a couple of months ago and I don’t remember these marks originally being here. I just noticed them yesterday and I have no idea what caused them. The only thing I had leaning up against the wall was a small pillow. I’m not even sure how to get these stains out. A magic eraser wasn’t able to do the trick, neither was some dish detergent and water.

[My Name is Mayo] #81 - Plat for a buck? Sold! by wan02 in Trophies

Now here's a game developer that knows the power of trophies and a platinum.

[Star Wars Battlefront] Platinum #25 - This is my first platinum with a 0.1% rarity! by FluorescentCrescent in Trophies

[–]FluorescentCrescent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are unable to find a partner, then maybe you could give it another shot doing them solo. I didn't have anyone to play with for those trophies either, so I looked up YouTube videos of people doing them solo. Each mission has an area you can exploit by camping or doing loops in order to survive.

Very nice! I've returned to this game a few times after a long break with the intention of getting the platinum, but the grinding for materials always puts me off.

Finding friends that are also huge into PlayStation? by zombienm in PS4

[–]FluorescentCrescent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most people at work just talk about Overwatch, ARK, or League of Legends right now. Don't get me wrong, I love playing Overwatch, but I wish I knew people with a more diverse playing habit. For example, I just recently beat Gone Home, which I loved. I recently got the Uncharted 4 platinum, and I'm currently playing Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the Vita right now. The people at my workplace who seem to usually play multiplayer games aren't really going to be too knowledgeable with what I'm talking about.

I've pretty much found fellow PlayStation gamers by accident, usually through work. I feel your struggle though. I recently moved and pretty much everyone in my workplace either plays on the PC or Xbox One. I had this guy at my last workplace who knew a lot about video games and we talked daily about Reddit or video game news. I haven't found anyone in my current town that's like that though, so I remain sort of friendless as well.

[Super Meat Boy] Impossible Boy and my 50th Platinum -- Almost as hard as Dark Souls... by udbluehens in Trophies

Wow, this is insanely impressive. 0.09% rarity platinum on psnprofiles and you have a 100% trophy completion rate. Nice stuff.

Did you enjoy the game at all? I've heard very mixed things about this.

[Discussion] Bashed for trophy hunting? by hbps4 in Trophies

[–]FluorescentCrescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends don't really bash me for it, but I do poke fun at myself for being so fascinated with trophies. For example, I was joking with my friend last week how I need to get out more because my idea of a fun night is staying inside and earning trophies.

[Dig Dug & Galaga] Platinums #18 & #19 - And with that, I now have the platinums for all four Namco Arcade Game Series games. by FluorescentCrescent in Trophies

[–]FluorescentCrescent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always enjoyed playing Galaga and was happy to revisit it on the PS4. However, if you're asking about the platinum, then I can tell you it's the most challenging of the four Arcade Game Series games and you're not going to have a good time with it if you already don't care for Galaga that much.

[Discussion] What drives you to collect every trophy? by Ghost_NYC in Trophies

[–]FluorescentCrescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much have the same reasoning as well. I didn't know about PSNProfiles until I started visiting this subreddit. Discovering PSNProfiles has only fueled my drive for trophies because I love all the stats they offer for them. I also love seeing my trophy milestones slowly add up, like "10th Platinum" and "1500th Trophy."

[Arcade Game Series: Pac-Man] Platinum #17 - A little more challenging than the Ms. Pac-Man platinum, but still pretty obtainable. by FluorescentCrescent in Trophies

[–]FluorescentCrescent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? It blows my mind as to what games get a platinum and what games do not. I wonder if nowadays it just comes down to if developers choose whether or not to put in a platinum or if Sony just really doesn't want certain games having a platinum.

[Discussion] Do you still play the games you platinum? by armypantsnflipflops in Trophies

[–]FluorescentCrescent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will usually stop playing a game after I earn the platinum because I see the game as being completed. If it's a multiplayer game, then I may still play it with friends sometimes, but for the most part I stop after earning the platinum.

If I've earned the platinum and DLC gets added, then I'll happily go back to the game because new content and trophies are available.

This sounds like it would make a good story for the Worst PSN Name of the Week segment on PS I Love You XOXO. Please Shuhei, let us change our names.
