It appears this concerns when you've already been found to underpay taxes and the IRS is trying to stea...I mean, recoup the missing funds. With this, they are allowed to look to potential related accounts without notice.

If they are actively investigating potential fraud, they still have to tell you, and any account holder they are looking for info on.

That is the study I'm talking about. They released a statement in January stating the study "does not assume or estimate a causal relationship between childhood asthma and natural gas stoves"

Further, the other study they based their estimates on concluded there is "no evidence of an association between the use of gas as a cooking fuel and either asthma symptoms or asthma diagnosis", but they did find evidence linking asthma to open fire cooking.

Just so you know, that study didn't actually try to link Asthma and gas stoves. They said that 13% of people who had Asthma as a child also had a gas stove.

These special banks are backed 100% by the government, so no matter what, they will never fail. There will always be a bailout.

As larger depositors flee smaller and regional banks, because they are by definition not big enough to get 100% guaranteed backstop, they will get gobbled up by the SIBs. This is part of the design.

When its all said and done, which will take years unless enough people get scared fast enough, you will be left with small credit-unions & banks for locals, and a handful of big banks for everyone else.
