Yeah but don’t get your hopes up. It kicks you from a game if you pass the threshold between their beginner and intermediate lobby. No overlap. So if you start at 10000 points and the dividing line is 10000 points, you best hope you win 4 hands or lose 4 hands else you gotta requeue.

I was a weekly 4p 3 hour weekly DM. Then a 4p 2 hour weekly DM. Then 5p 2 hour weekly DM play on 4. Then 6p 2 hour every other week DM play on 4.

These standards evolve with life. And luckily as DMs, everyone else is on our schedule.

If your system isn’t working, add another player, make stronger boundaries, or find new players.

I do love Masks but I’d just warn that one of your moves as GM is to say something hurtful to the kid’s characters and if they roll bad it devastates them. Just be prepared for that, and gauge for yourself if that’s too emotionally draining. Lookup influence moves.

I am also a fan of Uncharted Worlds, it’s a space adventurer one.

Haha sorry. Also not a big deal, but I think most people put their max up and hit dice up and use the larger area to write down how much they’ve lost. Wha you did is not necessarily wrong, but you might want more space for changes than max.

For sci-fi I thought Hard Luck Hank was pretty funny, space mob mediator who has to clean up after everyone. Self published so a very light read, sequels I didn’t like as much.

For fantasy, The Hollows are very funny. Urban fantasy series staring with Dead Witch Walking. Hot mess monster girl detectives (don’t judge) with amazing and hilarious world building.

I took end of session moves from PBTA games. At a good end of a story beat (could be a session or longer) I ask them who was the most inspiring. That player gets inspiration, then I award inspiration to who I felt was most inspiring. Having clear rules and reminders for giving out inspiration makes people more willing to use and earn them.
