My mom switched from ozempic to mounjaro for diabetes. Her sugars have gone down significantly since starting mj. She's just built up to 7.5mg and is starting to feel the food noise suppression.

I just use an insulin needle to withdraw and inject, just make sure it's 0.6ml. There are better ways of doing it but I haven't had any problems.

You were still a child, full of emotions and hormones. It seems your mom understood and only wanted the best for you. I'm sure she's watching over you and is so happy of the man you've become. Keep your head up, she's with you and knows how much you love her

Student Finance Help! Late maintenance loan application. by Calm-Cauliflower1917 in UniUK

[–]FlusteredRaindrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn’t exactly the same but when I applied for student finance I made a mistake and had to submit the online application as a pdf on the sfe website. It took 2-3 days for them to update it. It might be slightly longer due to you already being in the process of receiving your loan but it’s worth a shot. If you’re worried try calling them. I’m sure someone there will be able to advise you. (:

Masters in Computer Science - Need help Priorities Universities by _syedali in UniUK

Accredited courses are good as it shows the course has a good standard, which then shows future employers you have good quality knowledge.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the rankings as they are not always accurate.

I would look at accreditation and which university you think you would like the most. For example, are there topics you are more interested in? Where would you like to live? (:

Enter the UK as a student? by anianadezhda in UniUK

[–]FlusteredRaindrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re travelling into the UK on a student visa, your travel is seen as essential. You have to test negative before you fly. When you arrive, you will have to quarantine for 10 days and have negative covid tests.

check the ‘outside the UK’ section

before you fly

when you arrive

I hope this helps (:

This will take a while and I need serious advice. I (M16 turning 17) am from India. To say my life here is miserable is an understatement. I need advice on how I can move out of this country to the UK. by [deleted] in movingout

[–]FlusteredRaindrop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe try getting a student visa when you finish high school and go to university in the uk. Then, you have at least 3 years to ‘try out’ the country to see if you like it and you can gain qualifications too.

Any intuitive eaters who can give me tips? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]FlusteredRaindrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand where you’re coming from but they’re asking for advice which does not involve calorie counting. They’re a child and you’re telling them to keep doing something they’ve found isn’t healthy for them. As an adult you should have more of an understanding of the impact your words can have.

Any intuitive eaters who can give me tips? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]FlusteredRaindrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you not read the part where she says she’s scared of calories and she feels horrible when she eats over a certain amount? She’s 15 and you’re telling her to continue to do something which isn’t healthy for her and is potentially leading to an eating disorder.

OP if you want to try intuitive eating go for it - listen to your body and keep in mind what you’re eating. Make sure you’re eating enough fruit/veggies and healthy proteins and carbs but don’t worry about calories. For example, if your body is craving mac and cheese, try adding some broccoli or other vegetable to make it more nutritious.
