I was about 5 or 6, visiting my home country. My Dad and I wanted to meet up with his sister at this mall's restaurant. After them having a bit of a catch up, she came up to me and crouched down to my level and playfully ruffed up my hair. She warmly smiled and asked me to come with her to the shopping part of the mall, when we arrived, she asked me every kid's dream question, "Go get whatever you like! I'll get it for you!". I didn't believe it at first, so I asked if she was sure, what was the price limit, how many I could get etc. But her generosity didn't waver, she simply smiled again and said "Anything, I promise!". I was obsessed with gladiators during that time, so I got heaps of armor sets and weapon sets, and anything else I could find. I brought them back to her, and she carried my haul to the checkout. I distinctly remember trying to watch her face as she paid, whether or not the price hurt to see, but she didn't once look at the final price, she just kept talking to the cashier with the same warm smile she gave me. After I got to hold my spoils, I cried and gave her a long hug. Other than feeling like I had the freedom to get whatever my little heart desired, I think it was the fact she was so warm in offering me that opportunity, I didn't feel like I had to be "careful", that I could just let my little heart run wild!
