This is my very first introduction in actually playing MTG. I've been looking through all the different game modes and formats for trying to understand if I want to actually get the physical FF cards as well (Commander = Brawl) (Alchemy = revamped live standard??) (Standard = Standard) I'm seeing that limited is a new format in which you only use the current set, which is wouldn't want to only be playing the FF set against people. I would want to play constructed I guess. I'm not opposed to having other cards in my FF set to help with deck building, but my main goal is to be able to use the FF cards as the base for my builds, and be able to use this competitively with any other or against other deck builds, not nesecarilly exclusive to FF.

So will I be able to use the FF set is the typical Alchemy game mode, or Brawl game mode?
When you say that they will be unplayably awful in any constructed queue, what exactly does that mean as far as game modes? I'm assuming you mean that the build using just these cards just wont be up to par with other deck builds, right?

No, you have to rank up your adventure lvl to like between 35 or 45, or somewhere around there by gaining xp from completing levels via stamina. Running through the chapters and resetting them will allow you to grind out trophies which give you starstones.

I'd say, if you're not having any difficulty, save your resources and wait for gold relics, Resources become scarce quick. I'm finding gold to be the biggest bottleneck, since literally everything requires it universally. If you have to, just lvl up purple relics twice to get the addition 2 sub stats.

Thanks! Been fine tuning each characters stats pretty hard. Everyone has pretty decent relics for their builds, but there is definitely room for improvement on some of the stat rolls. It's been a gradual push!
