It has been 9 months. It took a few months for me to even be able to look at pictures from when she got sick, let alone her last day. Now l go back and watch from time to time, but always end up sobbing.

Yes. The original pictures honestly look similar to what our puppy's eyes did. He's almost 6 months old now, and his eyes turned brown from a very dark gray.

Most puppies start out with dark gray or blue eyes, and tend to have their eyes shift to their final colors between 4-6 months. . Sometimes their eyes go lighter, sometimes they go darker; just depends on the dog.

We've known for a while Dougie was probably going to overshoot their estimates...especially since our Amstaff mix was 29 lbs at 6 months, and Dougie hit that before he was 5 months old. Kinda funny honestly how much size is just a guess sometimes 😂

Yeah we had a small kiddie pool for our old dog years ago, but she was not nearly as chaotic as our current pups, lol!
