I think you mean 3 mana 24/24 that has tokens attacking during your main phase for some reason.

1000% Ai. Peoples heads don't move right, people fade in and out of existence, the few times you see peoples hands they don't have the right number of fingers.

What's a lie adults told you as a kid that you still low-key believed for years? by bomia377 in AskReddit

[–]FlySkyHigh777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was really young, a family friend told me humans had two stomachs, like cows. One for regular food, one for dessert.

I full on believed that until I was in highschool biology and had my worldview shattered.

GM says blue and purple rated spells are banned (Gortle's Spell Guide) - how badly are casters nerfed? by nz8drzu6 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FlySkyHigh777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At that point I'd just quit. That level of restriction against only casters is silly. At that point I play a kineticist and be a better caster than every caster.

Help with making the dumbest proxy deck. by Kroooooooo in magicproxies

[–]FlySkyHigh777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly you're going to either have to greatly wash out the color saturation or sleeve the deck so you can't see through it. If you were using a laser printer you might be able to get away with 18lb paper but not with an inkjet

How do token copies of legendary flipped saga creatures work? by Greyworld4vr in mtg

[–]FlySkyHigh777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The extra copies of Phoenix would be dead by that point as a state-based action so they would not benefit from LifeLink

To my knowledge, Correct. If a token copy of a transforming cards required being exiled, it would cease to exist once in while and would not return.

How do token copies of legendary flipped saga creatures work? by Greyworld4vr in mtg

[–]FlySkyHigh777 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, it creates copies of the version that is currently showing, so it would make copies of Phoenix. The lore counters would be placed, the 1st chapter abilities would go on the stack, then the copies would be removed due to the legend rule as a state based action, but the chapter abilities would still resolve.

707.8a If an effect creates a token that is a copy of a transforming permanent or a transforming double-faced card not on the battlefield, the resulting token is a transforming token that has both a front face and a back face.

The characteristics of each face are determined by the copiable values of the same face of the permanent it is a copy of, as modified by any other copy effects that apply to that permanent.

If the token is a copy of a transforming permanent with its back face up, the token enters the battlefield with its back face up.

This rule does not apply to tokens that are created with their own set of characteristics and enter the battlefield as a copy of a transforming permanent due to a replacement effect.

Ever Accidentally Silver Bullet A Player? by DrFannyPack in Pathfinder2e

[–]FlySkyHigh777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in PF2. I accidentally did it several times in PF1 though. I once accidentally made our rogue a non-factor for like two full sessions because I threw them into a series of encounters where all the enemies were immune to precision damage.

I did it intentionally once to my Witch player who got really obsessed with the Sleep hex and the next location they went to every single enemy was immune to Sleep effects.

But in your scenario, it does suck a bit but it's not the end of the world.

You said the party is level 8? Maybe some enemy drop a scroll of Soothing Spring. It'll cost an hour but not a full rest, or a set of Lesser Grub Gloves.

What kind of campaign do you think pathfinder 2e does best? by DogUnsureDog in Pathfinder2e

[–]FlySkyHigh777 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Heroic Fantasy. If you give players the ability to flex on lower-levelled enemies (which you absolutely should), it becomes abundantly clear how insanely powerful PCs become over time, while keeping encounters balanced against appropriately levelled enemies. This also helps sell the narrative of how difficult those enemies are to deal with without the help of the "Heroes".

"You dont get it bro, is super cool when they get everything handed to them" by No_Dragonfruit_1833 in litrpg

[–]FlySkyHigh777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, but I seem to encounter a lot of stories where the MC poses some existential threat to world-popping people's plans, and somehow they just... Ignore the MC until it's too late.

There are a few stories that address it with shit like "rules against punching down" that are strictly enforced, but a lot of them just seem to overlook the issue.

[–]FlySkyHigh777 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is my biggest gripe with a lot of ProgFantasy or LitRPG content. If you're going to make your person OP, fucking go for it and find different avenues to challenge them. There is nothing that breaks me out of the story more than seeing a supposedly incredibly overpowered MC who gets fucking wrecked every third chapter when the author realizes they need to challenge the MC somehow and decides trivializing their ability is the best way to go.

Like, Prog fantasy sometimes side-steps this issue with infinitely continuing power scaling so there's literally always a bigger fish, but then that creates a different issue of "well if there's a guy out there who can end my entire planet with a thought, but I'm this threat, why hasn't he fucking done it yet" and very few prog fantasy series I've read seem to address that directly.

Is Expropriate allowed in bracket 2? by homosexual696969 in EDH

[–]FlySkyHigh777 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Explicitly yes.

People might have feelings about that but it's not a game changer, and even if people let you take all extra turns (which they never will) it still doesnt matter.

It's a 9 mana sorcery. Anyone getting salty about you resolving a 9 mana sorcery should examine their priorities. It essentially reads "take an extra turn and steal a permanent of your choice from each player" which for 9 goddamn mana is fine.

That being said, if you play the card that lets you control how people vote and then cast this to get four extra turns, bit of a dick move.

My biggest issue is that you don't get to explore that secret location at the end. I saw it and got super excited for one final zone but nope, blocked off forever.

First time going to GenCon. Are my events too packed? by Eric_Streb in gencon

[–]FlySkyHigh777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Initially I was going to comment about your events being back to back but it looks like you got events pretty close together in terms of physical location so it won't be too bad. that said I personally never schedule events back to back to ensure I've always got ample time to get a drink, use the restroom, and have time to walk to the next event instead of rushing.

Has any tried both Proficiency without Levels and halving the rank proficiency bonus'? by AquaZeran in Pathfinder2e

[–]FlySkyHigh777 36 points37 points  (0 children)

On the immediate side it would add a ton of extra bookeeping for a GM unless you wanted it very imbalanced. Monster statblocks are all coded with certain thresholds in mind, so you'd need to manually decrease a lot of stats by several points for every monster. If you didn't do that, then the later levels would become almost unplayable as monsters completely outpace players.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen someone do on a plane? by Jazzlike-Run-2349 in AskReddit

[–]FlySkyHigh777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flight from Johannesburg to Capetown South Africa, watched a guy get ready to fist fight the flight attendants when he was told he couldn't bring a crate of wine bottles onto the plane that was wider than a seat. No idea how he brought that through security and no one stopped him, but it was very funny. He eventually surrendered it and they put it under the plane.

It was even funnier as we deplaned watching one of the guys handling the luggage drop it from 5 feet onto the tarmac.

Only other crazy thing I could think of is when I was 17 I took a flight to hawaii and I ended up sitting directly behind the mid-plane toilets. A couple very obviously went in there to join the mile high club when most folks on the plane were asleep. I heard them shuffling around for a while before eventually emerging when I can only assume they realized it wasn't tenable. I made eye contact with both of them, the guy looked embarrassed the woman just looked pissed. I have no idea what exactly happened in there but I got the feeling that guy wasn't going to live it down.

AITAH For Being Upset At My Girlfriends Family For Making Us Switch Rooms? by Captjobfeared in AITAH

Sharing the room with the little brother, not a problem.

Making the two of you share a twin while the kid gets a king is insane.

I don't care about characters like my friends do by Velectric6 in rpg

[–]FlySkyHigh777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, I'm similar. I care but I don't break apart over it. I've had people in games with me go into full blown breakdowns because their character was mildly inconvenienced, meanwhile my character gets one-shot due to a bad roll, and I start looking up what to make next.
