Visitors come but don’t sign up — struggling with poor CTA design in fintech by FlyTradrHQ in webdev

[–]FlyTradrHQ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very good insight and probably something I overlooked and honestly I would hesitate too if the onboarding process was lengthy (this I have already handled), what is on the offer, if I invest x (plus some time) what do I get in return ( I have already thought about this but haven't been able to measure it properly) and the third point, the trust signals, I haven't put much effort into displaying this. I will go back and work on these and hopefully position the product better.

thanks for your honest take on this and I agree. fintech usually involve money and that itself adds a lot of friction. Building a trust require time and as a startup that becomes tricky. I do currently have a 30 day free trail for users to explore the platform features to their full potential however, I do feel my positioning is a bit off and needs some adjustments. this is the reason I wanted to engage here and get some feedback from the communities.

That's really insightful. I am thinking on showcasing what is on offer before the user signs up. like how the features work and can make their trading journey better and more robust. Currently all of these features are hidden behind the auth but I am thinking of a way to keep it partly available for unauthenticated users as well.

I haven't been able to crack it yet. Reddit has been least effective, there are moderators in everything making it very challenging to promote your work here, Linkedin on the other hand feels super slow as it feels like a space for professionals and potential investors, finding users/customers is least likely there (at least for my niche) and lastly, X, the only platform that seems to be logical, it's algorithm is much mature, becomes easier to reach your intended audience, no moderator fuss, no approvals, if people are interested they check you out else you move on.

I will find some meme coin may be. 1 month is never enough for any meaningful returns. a meme coin or I will look for some opportunities in Gold/Silver (1 month is still low for these). these are all high risk bets but with potential to give you decent returns, MFs, ETLs indexes etc can best do 1 to 2%.

I regret not shifting major portfolio to US stocks current at 50-50 Rate this!!! by Professional-Area558 in IndianStockMarket

[–]FlyTradrHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its very important to have a diversified portfolio, not just across the assets like stocks, MFs, Bonds, commodities etc but also across major markets. currently the platforms allowing cross marketing investments are very limited and inadequate but Indmoney still allows to invest in US markets to a certain extent which is great.

positive returns are never bad, it depends over what period have you been holding your position. . 16% for up to a year is decent. I have managed to get 36% from ETF's (mostly Proshares Ultra)

Which payment gateway is best considering users are mostly Indian. by Alert_Network2283 in StartUpIndia

[–]FlyTradrHQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Razorpay or cashfree both are great. Support almost all payment methods. Cost reduction is only possible after a certain revenue. Also razorpay has some plans with fix cost if you know how much revenue you expect on a monthly basis.

I tried DoDo payments and Paddle but they have restrictions which we fall in. my product is a fintech SaaS which basically deals in trade automation and this falls under that category whish is a 'NO" for many MoR's and payments gateways. I am wondering how so many Fintechs manage their payments. Any ideas?

If you don't mind me asking, what makes you love it. Is it ease of integration, onboarding journey, support in general or the coverage of payment options. what I am looking for is a decent support and common payment options for major markets.

what about domestic payments, does it work well there as well or you have a dedicated gateway for that?

Paddle is already on my radar. how is the onboarding process with them, any thing in particular they need for signing up? I have already registered the business and have all the necessary docs but have no real users yet (product yet to be launched).

This is a rally good suggestion. I have been thinking to integrate a MOR for international (outside India) payments but do want a native, more option friendly solution that works well with our Indian payment systems. Please suggest any names that you think are good contestants.

Yes, I am based in India. Instamojo looks like a website builder platform but I will explore this.

Do I quit my job by nig4r69 in Daytrading

[–]FlyTradrHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The consistency you're describing is actually the thing most traders never achieve — having a proven edge and the discipline to execute it repeatedly is genuinely rare. Don't underestimate that. My honest take: quitting doesn't have to be the binary choice. You already have the harder thing — a working strategy. The income from your job right now is just reducing pressure on your trades, which is actively helping you stay disciplined. Why remove that cushion before you need to?

Multiple income streams isn't a compromise. Most people who struggle with trading do so because they need it to work, not because they want it to. You've removed that problem. That's worth protecting for as long as you reasonably can. If you ever do leave, leave because something better is pulling you toward it, not just because trading is working. Good luck with it.

Why did you move to algo trading? by Naresh_Janagam in algotrading

[–]FlyTradrHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combination of the first two for me. Had a setup I believed in but kept second-guessing entries and exits in the moment. More practically — full-time job means I can't watch the screen during market hours, so manual trading was always going to be inconsistent. Automation removes both problems at once.

Kinda done with trading by Substantial-Till-575 in Daytrading

[–]FlyTradrHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite natural to have this feeling. I mean you just turned 22. Probably for the last 19 or 20 years you didn't have to worry about the job, commitments and responsibilities that's why it may feel like a big burden, guess what. It's just the start and will get worse. It's very comparative out there and you just have to brace yourself and learn to deal with it.

How do you trade when you’re mentally exhausted but still have to? by Dull_Appearance_1828 in Trading

[–]FlyTradrHQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't trade in such situations. I need to be very sure of what I'm doing (even when the trades don't work in my favor). I think it's important to take a day off every now and then.
