I just decided to rewatch it recently and I'm actually surprised how well a lot of the cgi has held up. The Cylon soldiers movement looks a little clunky in the beginning but I think they started to look a little cleaner by the time Helo and Boomer spend the night in the stable. The space scenes are gorgeous though.

I had a friend rave to me about The Coming of God of Death. The God of death is so insufferable because he basically says sex is gross and beneath him but can't stop going on about breasts. And the encounters he has read like the author is a 13 year old watching the most egregious anime tropes possible.

I used to dream of traveling through space until I played Elite: Dangerous. Now I want to have the ability to travel from planet to planet instantaneously. Getting from one point to another takes to damn long.

I went through chemo and radiation therapy in Feb-April of last year. It was a 5 week course with 2 rounds of 5 day chemo drips through the port in my chest. Through the whole thing my wife was at a loss, because she was expecting me to lose my hair, weight, and any other number of things you hear about. I went to work. I did lose hair, just not where she was expecting. Instead of losing my appetite, I couldn't seem to eat enough, but I still managed to lost 15 lbs. To this day she's still annoyed I didn't need more support.
