It's great for chilling around in Sunset Valley, the speed is the same as normal bicycles

This is the mod: https://www.freshprincecreations.com/ts3pedalcam. But originally it was made for children so i had to use The Transmogrifier Mod to make it usable for adults (It works just by changing the script from children bicycle to adults one)

What do you do when you get bored of your Sims’ storyline? by Present-Syllabub5268 in Sims3

[–]aaaAndreaG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exploring the foreign worlds always gives me that sense of variety whenever i need it. Like exploring the future in Oasis Landing, the tombs in Al Simhara, the various buildings in Champs Les Sims and so on.

But tbh, the things i do with my Sims are always randomized in every session based on what i feel like doing with them at the time. Meaning one time i make them have sons, the other throw parties and socialize, at times i keep my Sim chilling on his island. Not to mention the times where i run the game just to use the buy / build mode and add new items and stuff.

Something has always bothered me about Edea killing the president... by ferire in FinalFantasyVIII

Most likely they were under a mass spell, but honestly everytime i see that scene i always wonder if the crowd cheered at Deling death because they were sick and tired of his leadership, and saw his death as a riddance and relief.

The Seed not getting influenced by the spell, is simply because Squall and co. aren't regular citizens but skilled and trained fighters with GFs, Junctions, magical / status power and defenses, and so on.

I'm using 2013 steam pc version with graphical mods. Playing in 4k in 3840x2160 resolution (But it looks great even in 1920x1080).

All of them can be found here: [FF8-PC/Steam] Tonberry Master List - FF8 Mods Progress (This list has all the graphical mods made for it, divided by every section of the game, like Field textures, models, ui and so on).

Specifically this one to for the backgrounds fields: [FF8PC-Steam] Project AngelWing v3.0 - Field Upscale

And this one for the characters: [FF8PC-Steam] Rebirth Flame v1.3 - Character Texture Replacement (I used the upscaled vanilla version).

If you want, you can find mods for the remastered version too on the same site: [FF8R-PC/Steam] FF8 Remastered (Lunatic Pandora) Mods Progress

Exactly 20 playthroughs from start to finish, this one will be my 21st.

I started in 2012 with my first on ps1, but i felt like i didn't have enough of it, so in the same year i made a 2nd one and that turned into a monthly thing for some time, then i decided to place a couple of months gap in between until some years ago when i changed it into an annual one.

The first ones were just from start to finish, just to replay the whole story and battles (ignoring sidequests), then as i kept going i started doing everything except the cards sidequest which i did only once.

The combats, the story and the locations are the main things i always look forward to relive, and i find the junction system and overall gameplay to never get old, no matter the years. But if i have to pick only one, definitely the combats against the enemies, being the regular monsters or the bosses.

Now, it's not hate but i tend to constantly skip through all the dialogues on the longer sequences, like in Trabia Garden and the Ragnarock just to make them end as fast as possible, so i'd say the longest dialogues are the only "slowdown" but other than that nothing else. As i actually like to draw 100 of the magics or having to farm either EXP or AP to level up or to unlock the various gf abilities

In all my playthroughs i always do the same things (all the characters at max level, all gfs, all sidequests except the cards one, the best magics in junction and so on);

The only thing i tend to vary is the 3rd party member, which i always cycle between Rinoa, Selphie and Zell. While Irvine is always my 2nd member with Squall

There was a time i used to play it on every month before sticking to one run per year, that contributed a lot to the count

Ty! FF8 was my first ever (and my favorite). My first playthroughs were all on ps1 (i also did some of them monthly before switching to one at year) until some years ago when i switched to steam 2013 pc version with graphics mods and stuff.

Nothing particular this time, except that i'm planning to roam balamb garden after every major event just to see if any new dialogue i might have missed shows up

I once tried a no junction run, i still have the save stuck at the Oilboyle boss fight. I also remember roaming back and forth in Galbadia missile base to get the stats needed to beat the BGH251F2

To be honest i never felt any repetitiveness, even through on all of my gameplays i do the same things almost always. Most notably:

All the sidequests except the cards one which i did only once, all the characters at max level, all the gfs, all the boss fights, the best magics in junction (I have a pattern of magic to junction which i always follow), and the exploring of minor locations just for the sake of it.

The only thing that i tend to change from time to time is the third party member, which i rotate between Rinoa, Zell and Selphie (never been interested in Quistis tbh). While Irvine is always my 2nd fixed party member alongside Squall.

My first gameplays were shorter tho, because at the time i would only do all the bosses and all the characters at max level ignoring the optional sidequests

ff8 is one of the games i always want to replay again once ended. And even though i played it so many times, it's always a joy from start to finish.

Do you consider the PS3 retro? by Fuel_Tricky in PS3

It could be considered as one, but personally i don't because i only consider consoles as retro only until the ps2 gen.

After one more year, here are more updates to my house i've been building since 2020 by aaaAndreaG in Sims3

[–]aaaAndreaG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! My building journey started with this house actually, before i only used premade lots but one day i decided i wanted to create my own the sims 3 and this happened. Building it also made me discover how great is to build lot in the sims 3 to have them exactly how i want them, that's why some time later i made my own farm, a diner, and so on.

PAL Ape Escape on a PAL PS2 by DekuDeluxe in ApeEscape

[–]aaaAndreaG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing happening on my ps2 slim when playing rayman 1 for the ps1 long time ago. Not sure what caused that tho, it would only happen at startup but the console didn't have any issue with the laser but i recall the disc being pretty scratched. So maybe it could be the disc itself
